Rustic House for Family and Friends' Gatherings

Discover a scenic retreat for gatherings of up to 14 guests. With an abundance of outdoor space, this is the perfect locale for joyful celebrations with family and friends. Surrounded by the lake, picturesque pastures, and calmly grazing cows, the setting offers an authentic connection with nature. The house has everything you need to feel at home.

Our house features historical architecture, a wooden staircase, rustic-style furniture, and stunningly designed bathrooms. The house counts five bedrooms, two living rooms, dining room, three and a half bathrooms, a working desk in one of the bedroom, a farmer's porch and outdoor terrace with breakfast table shade by tall oak tree. Plenty of outdoor space is available, complete with rocking chairs on the patio and a fire pit next to the house.

The kitchen has everything you need for family style cooking. It includes a gas stove top, double oven, large fridge, microwave, toaster, mixer, kettle, and a coffee machine. Pots, plates, wine glasses, and children’s dinnerware are provided. The kitchen has a 6-seat dining table. In the dining room, you'll find an 8-seat dining table.

Nestled between Austin and Dallas, our house is within a 20-minute drive of downtown Waco, Magnolia Market, Baylor University, McGregor Executive Airport, Cameron Park Zoo and more. Grocery stores are a convenient 20-minute drive away. Plus, HEB offers home delivery right to your doorstep.

Adequate parking space is right next to the house on the property.

The standard check-in time is 4 p.m., unless you've made prior arrangements.
Check-out is at 11 a.m.
The minimum stay is two nights.
Maximum stay is two weeks.

Guest access
You will have access to the entire house, except for two closets that are used for storage.
On the property, there is a lakehouse (for 4 guests) located 240 feet away, which is also available for rentals. The lakefront area is a shared space for guests from both houses.

Other things to note
Guests has to climb stairs, three bedrooms are on the second floor. There are two steps between kitchen and dining room. Please consider before booking.

Baylor graduation

Perfect amount of space to host family and friends. Ran 4 miles down the side roads every morning. First half mile traffic is a little dangerous. Only 1 TV, could use another one.

Absolutely lovely property and hosts!

This property was a surprise and a delight in every way! We had so much fun exploring the unique home - finding rooms around every corner. Sitting in rocking chairs on the wraparound porch was my favorite - but honestly, there isn't a thing I wouldn't rave about, including the hosts. My family especially loved seeing the cows when we woke up the first morning - the house and property are stunning!

Sibling get together

The space was perfect for a family get together. The property manager was quick to answer any questions we had. We loved the kitchen and wrap-around porch. The mild weather allowed us to enjoy and appreciate the outdoor seating. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of linens available. Strongly recommend!

Lovely Farm Property

Beautiful property with lovely house. There is also a guest house and finished barn that can be rented separately. The house has 2 bedrooms downstairs and 3 upstairs. There are 3 bathrooms with showers and one half bath off the large kitchen. Large kitchen with dining area and a second dining room. Two parlor gathering areas. Large bathroom upstairs with shower to be shared with 3 bedrooms. Very large master downstairs with large bathroom. Beautiful farm with lovely pond. Beautiful wrap around porch. The property is remote but quiet and a great place to relax and enjoy time with family and/or friends.
