The house was absolutely immaculate and well-appointed. It had everything we needed. Interaction with the owner was very easy and they were very proactive with their communication. I would definitely stay here again.

Cute and inviting home. Nice amenities, and the hot tub was delightful. Very clean and comfortable furniture and beds. Quiet location. Just a few issues with window blinds (open/close was broken on most of them), some lights didn’t work.

Clean and quiet rural cabin with everything you need!

The house was exactly as described. Clean and very nicely laid out. Comfortably fit 4 adults and 2 kids with plenty of room to spare! Check-in process was a breeze with an electric key. And very attentive service from the management company. Great stay and hospitality, thank you!

Quiet, spotless and well-equipped

We needed a quiet property away from the lake. This house was perfect for our family's needs. Close to everything (a relative term in rural areas), well-equipped and spotless. We would definitely stay there again.

The property was very clean and well maintained. The layout was perfect for a large group and the yard and deck provided an opportunity to gather outside. Several days were very hot and the air conditioning provided a welcome respite. Communication with the host was excellent. We would stay here again.

Great Stay

This house is amazing! Have been here back to back years and it has not let us down. Everything is very clean and the land/house is huge. Would definitely recommend to anyone in the Canandaigua area.

Enjoyed a long weekend with friends. Used the hot tub several times. Pet friendly; a friend last minute decided to bring her dog and the host was accommodating to our change of plans.

Amazing

Beautiful, well kept, and clean home. Close to lake, we even saw deer. Communication was amazing. House was well stocked. Anybody looking to get away to upstate NY.

Country charm

Delightedly peaceful and clean country home that was perfect for our family of 5 and our energetic Springer Spaniel. Setup worked for group meals and entertainment. Close access to Canandaigua restaurants and shopping, lake tours, while enjoying the upland pastures and farmlands. Communication was excellent and responsive to any requests. A great stay for winery tours, summer hikes, or winter skiing.

Great property, disappointing communication

This Vrbo home more than lived up to our expectations: it was spacious, clean, comfortable, and well-arranged. The hot tub was not the best hot tub I've ever used, but it was clean and worked well, and we frankly spent a whole lot of time in it, so thumbs up on that. The only issue we ran into was communication from the host. Before we left, we weirdly enough received an e-mail telling us we'd already been sent the check-in information (including the all-important door code) when we had never received that. This was communication through Vrbo, so there's no chance it was an e-mail that went astray or to junk. They did finally send it when I sent them a note pointing out the problem. We also contacted them two or three times asking if we could have a noon checkout instead of the 10am checkout they set. If they had gotten back and said "Sorry, no", that would have been fine--but they never responded. They sent several automated messages saying they hoped we were having a great stay and asking if we needed anything, but then they ignored our replies to those. This is an organization, not an individual, so it probably wasn't just that somebody was having a rough week. So to sum up: you'll probably really enjoy this place, as long as you watch out for communication glitches and don't need anything special.

The property is located in a beautiful setting that felt remote but is only about 15 minutes from stores, restaurants and the lake.

The house is tucked away in the hills in a cozy remote setting. But at the same time is only a few minutes away from stores, restaurants and the lake. There are all kinds of native birds on the property that are not commonly seen. We even saw a Bald Eagle flying overhead at one point. The beds were very comfortable and the house was uniquely decorated. The hot tub was also a nice size accommodating 4-6 people. We would recommend a stay and the fall foliage is also a nice bonus for this time of year in late October.
