By definition, "Coastline" is described as the area where the land meets the water and traveling along the scenic highway this rings true in every sense! Located in the Florida Panhandle in the small fishing village of Eastpoint, this fast and growing vacation destination is just minutes from the white sand beaches of St .George Island, seen just over the Bay, Carrabelle to your East and Apalachicola to your West. Coastline with it's large circular drive, is situated on almost 1.8 private acres high on a bluff overlooking St. George Island and the Bay and boasts over 190 feet of water front views and that is just from the front porch! You'll notice immediately from first sight that this isn't your everyday, typical beach home. Previous owners constructed the home with bricks that were salvaged from the historic Cotton Warehouses that were built along the Apalachicola River during the Civil War era when Apalachicola was the 3rd largest shipping port known for it's Oysters and Seafood. Stained Glass windows are found through out the home with original solid wood doooriginal glass knobs and hardware also rescued and given a new life during the great after the Great Fire of 1900 in Apalachicola Turning onto the long circulardrive, Coastline awaits you at the top of the hill.
We recently purchased this home from a family that used materials from a local cotton mill. Previous owner used the brick, windows, and door handles (in most doors) from that mill. She, also, hand-picked some stained-glass windows (which will be replaced but will still be displayed in the house in the future.)
Interior of the home is completely updated, fresh paint in all rooms.
We are a work in process and will continue to add upgrades to our home. We named it Coastline after "our song" from Hollow Coves.
