Charming home built in 1900 with 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths in a perfect location- close to Thousand Islands, Fort Drum and Canada. Third room has chair and a half, which converts to twin bed, and space to set up as an office. Screened in pavilion is perfect for al fresco dining.

Very peaceful home with incredible views of the Black River. Relax on the back deck or around the firepit on cool evenings!

Adorable little village - within walking distance to an ice cream shop, diner, pub and amazing fishing!

Notes: stairs leading to second floor are a tad steep.
During summer months, there will be weekly lawn care.
There is a $75 pet fee. If not disclosed at the time of booking, it will be an additional charge upon checkout.
Smoking is not allowed inside the home/sunroom. If the rule is violated, a $250 deep cleaning fee will be charged.

Beautiful and relaxing

We booked this location because it is in the path of totality for the solar eclipse in April 2024. The accuracy of the listing is spot on. The host is very responsive and very helpful.We only had one question and that was what the wifi password was because we didn't see it on the fridge. LOL! The property is absolutely stunning.The view from the back deck is gorgeous.The house was immaculate and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Dexter, NY area! Thanks Suzie for being a great host!

Weekend Fishing Trip with the Fellas!

The property is amazing and you couldn’t ask for a better location! You can pretty much roll out of bed and start fishing. The host was attentive while still giving us space. Will definitely recommend and will hope to stay again in the future. Thanks again for the great weekend!

Beautiful home & great hosts

We needed a pup friendly home to stay at while visiting our best friends. Our host was gracious enough to let us have a "Friendsgiving" there as my friends home doesn't have the capacity. The home was gorgeous, everything we needed and the backyard view was beautiful. Suzie and Dean's home gave us memories to cherish forever.

Highly recommend

What a cute cottage with every item you could possibly need at your fingertips. The home was clean and Suzie did all she could to make sure my 83 year old mom was comfortable. The town is cute to walk around to see salmon fishermen and a bait shop by the boat ramp. Watertown is an easy 10 minute ride with some old time restaurants and a cool park at the top of a big hill that offers fabulous views. We hope to return.

We are a retired military family, who after spending 30 years moving, decided to settle in the beautiful North Country. We love all activities outdoors - fishing, camping, hiking, biking - and this area is perfect for all of those!

This house is so special to us. It is a solidly constructed home which we have lovingly upgraded over the years. The view of the river is spectacular, both from the house and ON the river. Above the dam (behind the house), is hands down some of the most scenic view of the Black River. Below the dam is incredible fishing (pic is of coho salmon caught behind the house in October '22), with access to Black River Bay and out to Lake Ontario.
