Stay away from this Staycation
My issues started days before checking in when I informed the owner I was not bringing pets but had already been charged the pet fee. I explained this in a message and they just replied with their pet policy and said it was non-refundable. When we arrived to the house check in was easy with the door code but we were not prepared for the overwhelming smell of pet urine in the "lower unit"(basement). There were six in our party so a coin flip decided who got the fold-out couch upstairs and who got the basement. When we started getting ready for bed we realized there were no sheets for the foldout couch. We contacted the owner and they told us they would inform their cleaning crew. Since we were staying 2 nights I assumed they would bring sheets for the second night since it was a little after 10pm when I contacted them. When it was clear that all they were going to do about the missing sheets was inform their cleaning crew, two in our party booked a hotel for the second night. The beds were comfortable and the amenities were sufficient. For the amount of money we spent for six people to stay there we should have at least received sheets for the fold out couch for the second night. We were grateful to have the window units for AC, but they were insecurely installed and could be removed easily by anyone outside wanting to enter the house. I could say more but there is a character limit to these reviews. My advice is to book somewhere else or risk an expensive disappointment.
