Modern Beach Cottage - 3 Bed 2 Bath - Dog Friendly

Enjoy this stylish coastal cottage for your shore getaway! This totally renovated 3 bedroom, 2 bath house sleeps 6 comfortably. It is a short walk to the bay and beautiful sunsets.

Only 3 miles to dinner and sunset cocktails at Harpoons on the Bay or several breweries and wineries. 7 miles to the many attractions of Cape May or 9 miles to Wildwood beach. Wherever your adventures take you, you will come home to a pristine, but comfortable, environment. Did we mention no pet fees? Yes, dogs stay free!

A short walk away are the free Delaware Bay beaches. Leashed dogs are welcome on the beach at all hours in the off season, and before 11 a.m. and after 4 p.m. in season (Memorial Day to Labor Day).

The cottage was fully renovated in 2022. The kitchen has quartz counter tops, and stainless steel refrigerator, range, microwave, and dishwasher. Glasses, dishes, and silverware are provided, as well as a coffeemaker, and toaster. There is eat-in seating for six and additional seating is just outside in the fully fenced-in back yard. Stacked washer and dryer added in 2023 conveniently located in the laundry closet in the kitchen. Laundry detergent provided.

Both bathrooms are beautifully renovated as well with attractive finishes, including gorgeous tile. Both bathrooms are entered from the hall. One has a low-entry shower (1 and 1/2 inch) and the other a tub with showerhead. The living room and three bedrooms all showcase the original hardwood floors. There are two main bedrooms, each with queen beds, while the third room has a twin bed with pull-out trundle to sleep two.

Stay comfortable in any season with an up-to-date HVAC system, natural gas heat and central air. For your entertainment we have fast wifi, TV with Roku for streaming, and a few card games too!

The backyard has an outdoor shower for rinsing off after a day at the beach. Outdoor seating for get-togethers includes dining for 6 along with 4 Adirondack chairs. The fully-fenced backyard with grass and a shade tree has been very popular with families who bring their pups on vacation.

We provide pillows, quilts, and blankets.

**Guests are asked to bring their own flat and fitted sheets, pillow cases, bath towels, and beach towels to use while at the property. We can provide information on local professional linen rental companies if desired. **

We supply starter dish and dishwasher soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.

Beautiful Bay Vacation Spot!

Absolutely loved my stay at the Bay House in The Villas/Cape May! Immaculately clean, modern amenities, and a fantastic yard for my dog to enjoy. Plus, its proximity to great spots made exploring a breeze. Sharon and Doug were exceptional hosts, attentive to every detail. Can't wait to return soon!

We're Sharon and Doug! This is our first experience hosting and we could not be more proud of the beautiful home we have created for our guests. As summer residents for many years, we love this area and all it has to offer. We know you will love it too.

Our neighborhood has quiet streets and bungalows. You can walk directly to the bay beach to watch gorgeous sunsets over the Delaware Bay. Or you can walk to our local coffee shop in the morning! We will be happy to recommend local restaurants and things to do, and there are so many attractions in Cape May and Wildwood that are easy to reach!

Our home has been lovingly renovated and offers a grassy, shaded backyard that is fully fenced in. Our guests report that their pups love it! After an enjoyable day at the beach, you can rinse off in our outdoor shower and kick back in adirondack chairs or play a game of cornhole.

Guests will have access to the whole house and one of the two sheds. The owner's shed is not accessible. We provide 5 beach chairs in the guest shed.

- Feel free to bring your kayak, paddleboard, or tubes to enjoy the calm waters of the Delaware Bay.
- Bring your fishing rods! Surf fish from the beach or head to Cox Hall Creek Preserve for fresh water.
- Closest beach access located at the end of Wildwood Road
- Access to Cox Hall Creek Wildlife Management Area located at the east end of Delview Rd.
