RECENT BESCHIKBAAR VAN 7 JULI TOT 14TH. Aan de overkant van het strand. Drie minuten lopen naar de toegang van het publiek. Uitzicht op de oceaan. Volledig ingerichte keuken inclusief vaatwasser en magnetron. Twee veranda's, een met uitzicht op moeras. Wasdroger. Mooie grote veranda met schommelstoelen en hangmat. Een vol bad, een 3/4 bad, een buitendouche (warm en koud water). Drie slaapkamers (twee slaapkamers zijn voorzien van een queensize bed, een slaapkamer heeft een stapelbed met dubbele bodem en een tweepersoonsbed). Op straat parkeren. Knoestige grenen eetkamer. Kabel / DVD / Stereo. Gasgrill. Voel je thuis terwijl je geniet van alles wat Wells en de omliggende gebieden te bieden hebben. Veel te doen in de zomer en herfst.

Old Charm Maine
The house was an old Maine shore house. It was clean. Lots of space with two inside porches & an outside porch. Plenty of fans, but no air conditioning. Beach is a block away. Hanneford close by for food. Billy's Chowder House and the Wells Beach Lobster Pound a short distance with excellent food.

Great family spot
Great house for a family vacation. We stayed with two young kids (6 and 3) plus some visits from family and were very comfortable with plenty of space. Quick walk to the beach and close to stores and shops.

Comfortably rustic beach house
The house is old but comfortable - a typical Wells Beach house. A very short walk to Crescent Beach as well as the beach center. The owner was very helpful. We loved hearing the waves at night and smelling the sea air and beach roses.

Great Family Experience
What I loved first was the communication with the owner. He contacted us ahead and was easily accessed after we arrived and had a question. The house was well supplied, just like being at home. Games available for use were a big hit!! 6 am Candy Land on the rainy days provided for great grandchildren entertainment. We will definately being staying again! Thank you!! The Laplante Family

This house was lovely. Plenty of room to spread out, yet it also is homey and cozy. We loved that you can hear the waves and the marsh view is so pretty.

A wonderful location and summer beach house! The memories our family made there for a week were priceless and we are very grateful to have had the experience. The owners are very communicative for any questions. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Sandy Cheeks!

The very last thing one wants to do during a family vacation get away is clean a house. It's very clear the home was not cleaned before our arrival. The bathroom had remnants of toothpaste on the sink and mirror. There was some sort of white powder (said to be cleaner) and hair covering the tub. There seems to be dog hair and dust throughout the house, which also gets tossed around from floor vent heaters. Not to mention sticks to any piece of clothing that hits the floor for a second. Also, my (new) socks are brownish after walking around for the day. After communicating this to the owner, I was told "unfortunately there isn't anyone available to get to the house, as it's a holiday weekend." As a previous rental home owner, if I was ever sent this info from a client, I would make sure to get someone out to the property to rectify the situation. My disappointment in how this issue was brushed off cast a shadow over the entire stay here. We will not be back. Also, the outlets in all 3 bedrooms sparked. Not a huge comfort.

Super summer family reunion
We had a great time together in this house, which reminded me of my own family house growing up : lots of spaces to relax and chat in. It has everything you may need for your stay, and dealing with Michael & Leah was a breeze - which is exactly what you're looking for when you're on vacation. Sweet week spent by all!

Great beach home for families
This home is probably one of the better deals in the Wells area. Plenty of space for our two families with a kitchen that lacks absolutely nothing. Walking distance to a great lobster pound. Short bike trip to beautiful Ogunquit beach. With the giant hammock and big rockers on the front porch you won't want to leave the house. Michael & Leah will take good care of you.

Our family loved the house! Great location near beach, beautiful front porch for breakfasts and sun porch for afternoon relaxing. The bedrooms were large with lots of windows to enjoy the sea breezes. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen had everything we could ever need. A comfortable house great for families. Mini Family reunion
My sister rented this house for the weekend. Her daughter, son-in-law & Grandson were visiting from Colorado. My daughter & myself came up from NYC to meet the new addition to the family. This house was perfect. The sun rooms were awesome as was the front porch. Morning coffee back home is not quite the same as it was sitting in the rocking chair on the porch. Would love to come back for a longer stay next year. Thank you :)

Vacation of a lifetime!
Spent 1 week with our daughters, their husbands and our 2 grandchildren. There was plenty of room for all of us. The listing description and pictures were accurate, but actually seeing it in person was so much more awesome. The house was wonderfully located near a lobster pound for easy take out lobster suppers and a convenient walk to the beach for swimming and making sand castles. We especially loved the gigantic front porch for our morning coffee, the refreshing outside shower after swimming, and the lovely shaded back porch in the late morning overlooking the marsh. Mike was not only the owner, but a great host that made himself readily available for questions or concerns before, during and after our vacation. We will definitely go again, and would highly recommend it for a terrific down east experience!
