Sit A Spell is a charming two bedroom, three bath, duplex unit that sleeps 8 located in the heart of the Cape Charles historic area. Located only 4 blocks from the soft sand beach and 1 block from the 5 ac. Central Park, Sit A Spell is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing vacation. Plenty of outdoor spaces, including a spacious front porch, a Juliet balcony overlooking the Park or in the spacious backyard, plenty of space to enjoy the tangy salt breezes flowing off the Chesapeake Bay.
The main level has living room, dining room, large kitchen with breakfast bar seating, and a full bathroom. Living room has a queen sleeper sofa.
The second level has two large master suites. Front bedroom has one king bed and en suite bathroom with a jetted tub/shower. Rear master has one queen bed, one twin XL day bed with a trundle and en suite bathrooms with showers and double sinks. This unit can sleep up to 8 guests with the sleeper sofas. Front master suite has a private front porch with seating. The rear master suit has a Juliet balcony with views of the Gazebo stage at Central Park. Enjoys multi-level backyard deck with brick patio divided by large, shared fire pit. Gas grill, outdoor dining seating for 6 with umbrella, plus a small storage unit stocked with beach chairs, beach toys, umbrella, corn hole boards, tennis rackets, etc. One shared outdoor shower to make rinsing off after the beach a breeze! There are multiple televisions with Roku/Fire stick/Apple TV, high speed broadband internet, upstairs laundry room, beach towels, extra linens, etc.

Pets are allowed on a case by case basis and pets must be kenneled if left alone for more than 2 hours. The kennel is stored on property. Golf carts, bicycles, kayaks & SUP boards are available to rent in town!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an excellent stay at Sit and Spell and Sit a Spell, Too. We rented both sides for our two families to have a lot of time together but separate space when needed. Both sides were clean and well stocked. The porches (all of them!) and yard were amazing. The location is close to everything. We will absolutely return!

Beautiful home in a charming beach town

Sit a Spell was perfect for our party of 4 plus our dog. The home had everything we needed for the week long stay with a wonderfully outfitted kitchen, lots of games and books in the comfy living room, W&D on second floor, very comfy beds, and tons of beach supplies - umbrellas, chairs, toys, boogie boards, etc. The location was perfect, backing up to the park and a very pleasant 4 block stroll to the beach. One of the best beach vacations we've had in years, due in large part to this wonderful home!

Lovely stay

This house has a great location right off the park which we could see from the deck & close to main street and the beach. It's beautifully appointed & has everything you need for your stay.
