The Cottontail (#18) is a cozy, rustic 2 bedroom cabin that offers all of the comforts and features of home. We are set here under the pine trees in the Adirondack Mountains, on the west side of Lake George, situated on the family mini-resort known as the Adirondack Diamond Point Lodge. Complete with full kitchen, full bathroom, living room, dining area, enclosed sitting porch, private bonfire pit, picnic table, charcoal BBQ grill, flat screen TV, A/C and Free WiFi. One bedroom features a queen hickory log bed, the other, a queen hickory log bed and a twin bunk bed as well. Sleeps up to 6 people in beds. The living room features a futon bed option. While we rarely recommend a futon bed for adults seeking a very comfy bed, they are often perfect for teens and kids. Please let us know if you plan to bring a 7th guest. The cabin is part of our larger resort and guests have access to the heated pool, indoor game room, lounge & guest laundry. Enjoy horseshoes, shuffleboard, ping-pong, pool, basketball & games. We also have a large gas BBQ grill at the pool area.

The Adirondack Diamond Point Lodge features 33 types of accommodation, and we are pleased to host families, groups, teams, and friends - ask about our other available cabins!. The property is perfect for events such as family reunions and celebrations. While many of our cabins have similar features, each have special features that make them unique. Our cabins have full kitchens stocked with pots and pans and full bath. Linens, soaps and shampoos provided. *Please bring your own beach and bath towels.

Guests have access to the heated pool (in season), tiki bar, communal gas grill and fire pit, indoor game room, outdoor games including basketball hoop, shuffleboard, ping-pong, horseshoes, badminton etc., as well as the indoor rec room/community room.

Other things to note
The property is located almost exactly mid-way between Lake George Village (6 minutes) and Bolton Landing (8 minutes). We are not on the lake, but public beach access is a short drive away. If you are brining a boat or jet ski and looking for dock space, please ask us - we may be able to help at one of our other locations! There are beautiful hiking and biking trails just minutes away. During the summer season, our property is served by the Lake George Trolley, carrying passengers to destinations between Lake George Village and Bolton Landing.

We are 10 minutes to Six Flags Great Escape and Adirondack Extreme Adventure tree & ropes course, 1 minute from Saddle Up horse back riding, 7 minutes to the Million Dollar Beach, and midway between the villages of Lake George & Bolton Landing with shops, restaurants, Fort William Hendry, nightlife, entertainment, mini golf, go carts and much more. On the lake enjoy: boat, jet ski, or kayak rentals, parasailing, water skiing, scuba and more. A short ride to Natural Stone Bridges and Caves, Fort Ticonderoga and Crowne Point Bridge. Vermont is a quick drive around the bottom of the lake!
Pets: at this time, The Snowshoe Hare is not pet friendly, however, we DO have pet friendly cabin options at the ADK LODGE. Please inquire!

We focus on cleanliness, amenities and a personalized experience for our Guests, whenever possible. We also operate a "sister" property one mile to the south, known as Cramer's Point Lake Breeze. We take pride in maintaining a place where multi-generational groups of families and friends carry on the time-honored tradition of spending time together enjoying the Adirondacks in cabins and Lodge style accommodations with plenty of space to enjoy indoor and outdoor activities on and off-site. We offer favorite past times for our Guests, such as bonfires, BBQ, picnic tables, Adirondack chairs, games, heated pool and much more.

We are on a quiet road with no outlet / through traffic, just off the main road in Diamond Point. It is quiet and private, yet includes all the benefits of the Resort, and has that “ Adirondack“ feel.This home is part of the Adirondack Diamond Point Lodge, nestled in Diamond Point on the western shore of Lake George. We are located approximately mid-way between the villages of Lake George and Bolton Landing, and approximately 5 minutes from Warrensburg. We are close to all of the area attractions, restaurants and activities. Nearby destinations include Six Flags Great Escape, Adirondack Extreme (adventure course), Stable Gate horseback riding, Golf, Gore Mountain Ski resort, mini-golf, boat rentals and much more. Numerous lake side restaurants are just minutes up the road in either direction. During the summer, the Lake George "Trolley" offers free shuttle service between destinations.
