This cabin is ideal for families and friends (you can even bring the dogs!) looking for a special place to create everlasting memories - it has a very spiritual and positive vibe, allowing you to spend a truly memorable time here. Owners have thoroughly decorated it with items that hold memories of travel and friends.

The location is simply perfect if you are expecting quietness and relaxation, however, you are still close to the village of Running Springs and Arrowbear Lake. Two major ski resorts are nearby - Snow Valley Mountain Resort (four and a half miles) and Bear Mountain Ski Resort (19 miles). Hiking trails abound in the area, so pack your favorite hiking shoes, your camera or phone, and get ready for a scenic adventure!

The cabin offers a wrap-around deck with an outdoor dining area right next to a BBQ grill - perfect for warm-weather barbecues! As you may have noticed, this cabin is all about outdoor living!

Inside, this mountain-view stunner boasts a gorgeous rock gas fireplace that will keep you nice and toasty during your stay. Gather around the fire to plan your next adventures with your loved ones, watch cable TV, or simply relax with a good book in hand. There are plenty of board games to choose from for board game night, so don't hesitate to pick your favorite and gather at the dining table for some family fun. When mealtime comes, the kitchen has your back! It's complete with all the essentials (no dishwasher) that you may need to prepare tasty homemade meals for everyone.

Cozy cabin, room for improvement

Cozy cabin. Ideal location. Has potential to be a 4-5 star cabin! However, we found the place needed a deep cleaning (floors, carpets, kitchen amenities). It’s definitely a place we would like to stay at again with improvements!

Pet dander was overwhelming, had to leave early. Would have been ok otherwise.

Pet friendly accommodations are a great option, but the cleaning MUST include a good vacuuming. The pet dander was overwhelming. It was after spending a little time in the unit trying to figure out the incredible allergy attack I was having, that all the dust and dander on the upholstered furniture became visually obvious. If it can be seen all over the furniture, it’s likely in the carpet too. My guess is, the cleaners use the old carpet sweeper set in the corner instead of carrying a vacuum up all the exterior stairs. I am a pet owner who has no allergies problem at home or at other pet-friendly properties (!) but I had to leave this place a day early and cut my vaca short. I could hike, or sit outside for a couple hours with no problem, but after more than ten minutes inside this cabin, the allergic reaction would resume - the sneezing from pet dander was total misery!!! It all became one big bummer of a trip, wasted money and wasted my precious time off. Makes me wonder how long pet dander has been accumulating here. I sent several pictures verifying the pet hair and dust on upholstery and the dirty dishes, (found the cutting boards on the floor by a mousetrap) with melted cheese on them. I had to drive 30 minutes to buy antihistamines I tried three and the one that finally worked was Benadryl, leaving me groggy. Miserable, so I really had no choice but to pack it up and go. So sad to waste my time off and money.
