Built by the owner’s father in 1975 and sitting right on the water, this spacious, unique home offers the perfect family-friendly getaway for your next - or first - Fire Island trip. The beach is right outside your front door, and with access to adult-size bikes, it’s easy to explore the entire island from east to west. Several restaurants and a grocery store are within walking distance.

You’ll find a wide-open, completely unique space at the home itself. Abundant picture windows flood the living area with natural light, and the soaring ceiling, wood-paneled walls, wooden spiral staircase, and comfortable coastal furnishings combine to lend the space plenty of character. Pop into the full, well-equipped kitchen to whip up meals and snacks, then dine alfresco on the vast waterfront deck.

After days on the beach, unwind at home while you stream the latest release or use the free WiFi to check up on social media. Even better, mix up a cocktail at the wet bar, fire up the gas grill, and spend the evening under the stars on the deck. At bedtime, four serene spaces promise a restful night’s sleep. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
