Very clean and spacious minimalist's home with 3 available bedrooms plus very comfortable pull out couch in TV room in a safe and walkable neighborhood near lovely Portage Lakes, Blossom Music Center, Akron Corporation Headquarters such as Goodyear, Firestone and Akron Hospital HQ's such as Cleveland clinic.

Very close to great attractions like Cuyahoga Valley National parks, Akron Zoo, Stan Hywet Mansion and Gardens, Portage Lakes beaches, trails and water sports among many other things to see and do.

A mere 20 minute scenic drive to Blossom Music Center for you concert goers. (Free parking at Blossom if you've never been) Very amazing place to see a concert with covered seating as well as inexpensive outdoor pavilion. The sound at Blossom is VERY good. I've both performed there and watched multiple big name concerts there.

Fully air conditioned with plenty of space to relax both inside and outside with an outdoor, lighted and covered back patio. Very centrally located within miles from highway entrance as well as minutes away from downtown Akron. Plenty of walking parks within minutes as well as Montrose/Fairlawn shopping for food and amenities as well as downtown Akron.

I love the area my home is in and sitting out on the back porch at night which is such an excellent way to spend your time, listening to music or chatting up friends. The commercial grade bug zapper keeps the biters away and the lighting is very chill and relaxing. Otherwise, inside there is entertainment, record player with stereo, TV's of course and an area to play games if you so desire so bring your favorite board game!

Long term rental may be available with discount. Blocks of time could be added to accommodate. This is my primary residence but there is flexibility if requesting a longer stay.

Eclipse Get Together

We booked to have a place to gather with family from Ohio and Pennsylvania for the Eclipse. Everything was ready for us when we arrived. Ryan was nice enough to let us arrive a little early. The kitchen is big enough for a couple of people to be working together for meal preparation. And there is enough counter space to put appliances and any food you bring. The house is big enough so everyone can have a little space for quiet time to themselves, if needed. We loved the yard as we had outdoor activities and games planned for the grandchildren on the day of the Eclipse and it allowed them to get outside and have fun. The back covered porch was a nice place to have our morning coffee. There is also a nice sunroom we enjoyed. Just be paying attention when you go through the French doors from the sunroom into the kitchen. There is a slight step up into the kitchen and our family members kept forgetting it was there and tripped over it. There was ample parking for our vehicles. The house is on a quiet street but about 3 miles away is fast food, restaurants, grocery stores. and a shopping centers. Great location! If you need to get something, easy to go pick up. Ryan responded quickly every time we reached out. We would book it again.

Wedding stay

Place was very roomy for a big family. Location to downtown was perfect for us to attend a wedding. Ryan was very nice to let us know we could check in early and even turned on lights for us getting there after dark. I would stay there again if I was in town again.

Perfect stay

The property was and stay were excellent! It was secluded, yet close to shopping, restaurants and venues. I couldn't have asked for a better stay.

Originally from Seattle, have lived in Ohio for the last 20 years. I decided to open up my house to those who are looking for a place to stay while I travel which recently has become often. Very easy going and laid back. You will enjoy yourself and have little to no drama from your host. smiley face emoji inserted here.

This neighborhood is very safe and welcoming with a quiet and uneventful feel to it. It's close to the freeway without hearing the freeway and in a very nice, centralized location. Copley is a nice area.

I make the property unique of course. Kept up very nicely, I've turned it into a "smart" home with a lot of automation as well as kept things really clean and minimal. It's got all the essentials without the unnecessary clutter. Less is more!
