We did take note of the paper pieces found underneath the bed; and it is unfortunate that someone tucked a partially eaten apple amidst the plastic bags in the plastic bag drawer. We apoligze that we did not better communicate on this. We do wish we had known about the septic odor during your stay so we could have looked into it right away. We'd appreciate the opportunity to provide you with a better experience in the future.

We appreciate you pointing out the issues, especially the early entry by our cleaner and the condition of the home—those are not experiences we want our guests to have. The patch work in the living room has been resolved. A competitive game of ping pong did result in a repair that required a bit more time than just between stays. The dock lights are available. As for the water system, it’s true that its salinity can fluctuate, and we do our best to advise guests on where to find drinking water nearby. We're also reviewing the suggestion of providing a dispenser. Regarding communication and our rental agreement, we use our direct platform to ensure prompt support and send the agreement in advance for transparency. While it's standard and mutually protective, we understand it can feel formal. Our goal is to be clear about expectations, not to shift responsibility. And thank you for flagging the missed follow-up on your left item — that’s something we’ll make sure to address better moving forward. For lost and found items, we will always do our best to locate them, but with new guests arriving immediately after departures, it isn’t always possible.
