This interesting property offers a spacious ranch-style house, on 15 acres, in the town of Granbury. It features a private pond for fishing as well as a 3 horse-stall barn with grazing turnouts.
The location of this property is ideal for anyone looking to stay close to the Granbury Lake, or anyone needing to stay near Weatherford. It has the perfect location for easy access to Stephenville, Granbury, Lipan, or Weatherford.
The house features 4 bedrooms with king beds and a giant 5th bedroom with 6 beds — 2 twin, 3 full, and 1 queen.
Each bedroom has ample closet or dresser space.
One king room has an en-suite bathroom.
The large bedroom with multiple beds has an en-suite bathroom.
There is one standalone bathroom to accommodate the remaining bedrooms.
We do not allow events at this property.
Fishing on our pond must be approved beforehand, and a liability waiver must be signed. We have two kayaks for rent - can be arranged before you arrival.
We have one RV electrical hookup onsite for an additional charge (no sewer hookup).
This property is not dog or cat friendly. We keep livestock and horses onsite. We ARE horse friendly for anyone traveling with horses. An extra fee will be charged and can be discussed while booking. We have three stalls/runs.
You will have access to the entire property, with prior approval. You must request access to go fishing or to use the horse barn.
We have a ranch-hand that lives on the property in a RV, behind the barn. You may rarely see him on the property — he mows once a week and drives to/from the property daily. Please let us know if this is an issue, and we can try to make special arrangements.
The house uses well water. It is clean and safe, but we recommend that you bring bottled water for drinking.
We have a Pack-N-Play available, upon request.
The house can be cleaned throughout your stay, for an additional fee.
We have a list of items to consider before booking with us that we will send after you send us an inquiry. This list of considerations must be approved to complete a booking.
Additionally (House Considerations):
Remove all food that you brought onsite. Do not leave any condiments or freezer food behind.
Remove trash into the onsite dumpster upon check-out.
Do not park on any grass areas around the house - septic tanks!
No fires in the indoor fireplace. Outdoor fire-pit uses propane that we supply.
Guests do not have access to the garage.
If you are staying for one month or more, we will do one walk-through per month to make sure everything is okay in the house. (Prior notification will be given.)
