Cozy beachfront flat w/ amazing views (great for families!)

Wake up to watch the sunrise while sipping coffee on the wraparound balcony. With each passing minute, the colors in the sky and their reflection in the water shift in gradients of blue, pink and red. Walk down to the beach, just a few steps away from the apartment, perhaps with your coffee mug in hand to watch the water scintillating on the gentle waves, or perhaps with your towel and goggles for a fresh and revitalizing swim in “the bassin.”
Later, in the morning, you can ride your bike to the marché in Cap-Ferret via the bike paths in the forest. After a lazy and sunny afternoon at the beach, on the ocean side, head over to the patisserie Frédélian for an ice-cream and to checkout the various boutiques nearby.
After contemplating the sunset’s reflection on Arcachon and the Dune du Pilat, walk to the charming village of l'Herbe, down the street to enjoy locally-harvested oysters and rosé. The evening has just begun…

Our 2-bedroom flat is sunny, bright and cozy, with a wide wraparound terrace. Your can see the bay from all windows! Each room has floor to ceiling windows that open to the balcony. It is ideal for families and the beach of the bay (with gentle waves) is right across the residence. The historic Moorish-style chapel of the Villa Algérienne is just a stone's throw away. L'Herbe has one of the oldest and most charming "village ostréicole," where locals still live and have been farming oysters for generations. There, you’ll find numerous “cabanes d’huîtres” or oyster-tasting huts, where you can enjoy fresh oysters while admiring the ever-changing colors of the bay. The white-sand beaches of the Atlantic ocean are a few minutes away. There are many bike paths to all directions that can be rented easily, some even delivered at your door during your stay.
