Parking -
You'll have no trouble with parking as the property has a private driveway that fits up to 5 cars. Check with us if you have any questions - we're happy to help!
Getting Around the Area -
The best way to get around the Smoky Mountain area is by car. While the majority of the nearby roads are 2-lane, well lit and paved, we do want to make guests aware that the roads closest to the cabin are newly paved, steep, narrow, unlit, without guardrails and quite curvy. This is typical of the roads that lead to higher elevations and we believe this adds to the overall charm of our location because it provides a true mountain-stay experience for our guests.
Notes about Getting Around the Area:
➤ Please contact me through an inquiry if you have any questions about the roads or would like a link to a video tour of the roads near the cabin.
➤ Snow and ice are not common in this part of the country, yet snow and ice are possible during the winter months. Please be advised that a 4-wheel drive vehicle is recommended during those months when cold weather is possible in the unlikely event that it snows or the roads freeze temporarily.
Guest Safety:
➤ We have 2 cameras on the exterior of the property for guest safety. One camera faces the upper-entrance door and one faces the driveway. (There is also one camera inside the lower mechanical room, which is locked and entirely off-limits to guests.) All cameras are motion activated and record sound and video when motion is detected. The recordings are only viewed if a problem arises, and may be shared with the appropriate booking-platform and/or local authorities.
