Dinah, I am so sorry that you were disappointed in your stay with us. We would have been happy to have sent the cleaners back if we had known about these issues. The same with the propane tank and any other maintenance issues. Please accept our apologies that we did not deliver up to your expectations.

If we would have been made aware of the issues with the bikes and cooler, we would have been happy to have taken care of those items during your stay. We will definitely look into this and make sure that it is taken care of for the next guest. Unfortunately, we are at the mercy of Manatee County for trash pick up. Most of the homes on the island have guests check in on Saturdays and the trash is picked up on Monday ~ there is a bit of an overlap with having trash in the bins between guests. I'm sorry it was inconvenient and I really wish that there was something that we could do about it, but trash pickup on the island does not happen on Saturdays ~ mostly due to the congestion of guests coming and going as well as local beach traffic. I'm glad that it didn't deter you from enjoying your stay and we hope that you will visit Anna Maria Island again very soon!
