This was a very cozy stay for a family of 4. Nice well equipped kitchen. We stayed for 2 nights to enjoy the golden larches season. Good restaurants and local history museum within walking distance.

Weekend with Friends

Check in and check out were incredibly easy. The location is perfect (walk 1 block to town). Lots of space, bathrooms, amenities.

The house is really a cute old farmhouse that has been updated.

Great location! Easy to find and park. Having three full bathrooms was nice for a group. Well stocked kitchen and fenced yard. It's a older home with some qwerks. Like the faucet in the master is not connected or sealed to the sink and one of the chairs in the dining room was falling apart. But overall great place for the price and we loved walking into Winthrop.

Convenient Location-inconvenient renovations

This is a very conveniently located and spacious house. We were notified the day before the trip that one of the restrooms was not working which was an inconvenience for a group of our size since the other “public” restroom was upstairs and had a sliding door with no lock. The sign on the restroom downstairs said that renovations are taking place. The listing should be updated to two restrooms so that future guests can make an informed decision regarding the accommodation. Also guests should be aware that the water heater is set really high and it is easy to get burned using the faucets in the house.

Thank you for your feedback...we are so sorry that you were notified late about the bathroom. There was a plumbing issue which we thought would have been resolved but, unfortunately not. Luckily, there two bathrooms that you could use. You were refunded for the inconvenience. Glad you were able to make the best of it.

We loved our stay at your place. Great location and well filled with amenities. Beds were all comfortable and ac worked great in summer for all parts of house.Would love to stay again.Only notes to consider, the diswasher top rack is broken, so we couldn't open and fill it easily. My brother took a video and photo, for some reason this site won't let me upload the video.Also, small note, the herbs, spices were GREAT! Thank you! It was so helpful. Only possible small additional consideration would be to add a small container or bottle of oil of some sort. Maybe such as canola or olive oil, even a cheap item would have helped since we didn't have butter or oil and just had forgotten. Just a teesy suggestion, but the rest of the items were awesome! Also, having washing soap for the one small load, so great!!! Thank you.
