Nice condo in a safe neighborhood
The property is quite nice, although the condo is small. Mosquitos managed to get into the screened porch, limiting its usefulness.
On our third day, we found out that communication to guest services were by text only; phone calls don't work [um, when was someone going to mention this?]. There were minor things that needed attention which were simply not addressed during our stay: the electrical outlet in one bathroom did not work, the toilet tended to run, the toilet seat cover was detached [my brother fixed this], batteries in the AC control were dead [we replaced them during our stay], a frying pan's non-stick coating was perhaps 10% gone, the veggie peeler was rusted and useless, several kitchen knives had rust spots. One of the chairs in the back porch is supported on one side by a rock. I can't recall if the living room sofa was listed as a possible sleeping area, but we needed to put someone on the sofa and they wanted to charge us extra for the bedding.
The pool is very nice. The condo is definitely secure [gated]. I didn't realize until we arrived that other amenities, like the gym, are accessed only with an additional fee.
Since we spent our days snorkeling and swimming, much of the above didn't matter much; I was just surprised that guest services, who stated, "We want you to make the most of your time here without having to worry about anything" was not very responsive.
