Our home sits at the intersection of the Historic Gardens and Denver Heights neighborhoods: two up-and-coming gentrifying neighborhoods undergoing rapid development and revitalization. This location has a rich culture with close, convenient proximity to San Antonio’s major attractions. You will find a large array of restaurants, shops, and local businesses from folks of all different backgrounds and walks of life.

There is a strong sense of community here and we love and care for it deeply. We proudly call this place home, have always felt safe while staying here, and love the character & rich history, but the diversity and mix of old and new may not be the best fit for everyone.

*** Please DO NOT book this place if you are expecting an upscale neighborhood. This home is upscale and we have never had any issues when staying here, but it is a neighborhood that is being gentrified. This means that you might see a mixture of new, remodeled, and un-remodeled 100+ yr old homes all in the same block. Some may even be under construction. Like many other downtown areas in major cities, you may have some noise or the occasional homeless person due to us being so close to downtown. It doesn’t happen often, but we want to set the right expectations with our guests in case it does.

*** Please DO NOT book if you are uncomfortable with what is stated and give us a bad review for location. We want to be very transparent with you. Even if the neighborhood may not look glitzy and brand new, the people are great and kind, and the location is unbeatable. There are a number of other Airbnbs in this area that all face the same thing, but we all consistently have guests who choose to stay here time and again.

Parking: We have a private, gated parking spot on our property and free street parking as well.
