Escape to Sher - Your Midtown Oasis USA Mardi Gras

Stay close to it all at this centrally-located haven, perfect for family! Close to the interstate in a safe and quiet neighborhood. This house includes 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and sleeps up to 20! There is also an amazing bonus room with a projector TV (up to 120 inches), ping pong table, and more! Relax on the back deck and marvel at the expansive, beautiful backyard with a gorgeous live oak right in the back! Plenty of parking for everyone too!

The space
You'll be staying at a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom house with a bonus room and amazing backyard! The main entrance of the house includes access to the full kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (including a jacuzzi tub), and a bonus entertainment room. Off the back deck there is a separate entrance to the attached mother in law suite where you'll find another sitting room with a kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom. THIS IS A PERFECT SPOT for families traveling together!

Exploring Midtown is a breeze with our available bike rentals. Cruise through the picturesque streets, surrounded by majestic oaks, and discover the various parks that dot the area. Simply let us know if you're interested, and we'll provide all the details to ensure you have an unforgettable biking experience.

The location is just the best too - super central and close to the interstate and downtown! Awesome, safe neighborhood and just 45 min-1.5 hours away from Dauphin Island, Pensacola Beach, Orange Beach, Gulf Shores, Fort Morgan and Fairhope!

Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire property excluding the tiny house in the back with the peach door. There will also be a designated parking spot for the long term guest staying in that unit so please be aware and don't park there or block the driveway.

We do accept pets at this location, but have some guidelines we'd ask you to follow when joining us with pets:
1. Let us know how many and what animals you plan to bring before booking. We do charge a small pet fee.
2. No animals are allowed on the furniture.
3. All animals must be kenneled when you leave them unattended.

I love HOSTING! It's been so much fun creating spaces for guests to come and feel at home! Mary is our property manager and does an amazing job making sure you will have whatever you need. (Thank God for Mary!) My husband and I have 5 children so we're typically running around like chickens with heads cut off (and we wouldn't trade a thing)!

We purchased this property because we just loved the historic charm and the large live oak out front! At first, we were totally overwhelmed by all the work needed on this beauty, but it soon transformed into what it is today! We've updated almost everything in these units, and my husband even has an office here (so he's typically available should you need something specific)

There aren't many locations around Mobile better than this one! Oakleigh Historic District is one of the most sought after areas to live in Mobile for so many reasons! The neighborhood is absolutely beautiful with live oaks everywhere and some of the oldest houses in Mobile.
The 12 foot ceilings, front porch, large live oak out front, and original wood floors throughout most of the downstairs are what really got us excited about this place! I know you guys will enjoy the historic nature of this place too. It's also SUCH an amazingly perfect central location so you can't help but fall in love with George. And of course - the Mardi Gras parade route is just a short walk away!
