Condo in Crested Butte
This condo was as described. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the board games that are in the unit. The condo is relatively close to the lift and for the most part the walk is flat, slightly uphill on the way back from the slopes.
Cons:
The walls are extremely thin. We could hear every step the people in the unit above took as well as their conversations. Thankfully they were not partying at night and there were no issues with the noise during sleep hours.
The other issue was the upper parking lot was not plowed well and the melting snow created a good 3” puddle in front of the entrance to the building that couldn’t be avoided. I did call about this issue but the property management couldn’t do anything about it since it is the HOA responsibility. Luckily we realized that we could move our car to the lower parking lot and use the second entry.
The wood fireplace can’t be used to burn wood. You can only use a purchased starter log. This was a big bummer for us as that is one thing we enjoy.
