The aptly named Tranquility Cabin enjoys a secluded location at the Ranch, nestled in a huge live oak grove with a spring-fed creek running behind the cabin.

This romantic East Texas cabin features a private outdoor hot tub and is surrounded by five private wooded acres.

The covered front porch with two rocking chairs is the perfect place to spend the afternoon. Amenities include a full kitchen, living room area, one bathroom, one bedroom with a queen bed, a private fire pit, and a private BBQ gas grill.

At our Texas Ranch, we are happy to welcome you and your pet as our guests in most of our accommodations. We offer fun Texas pet friendly getaways to those that don’t want to leave their furry friends at home.

Please be advised that our Texas bed and breakfast is home to an assortment of animals, including our own ranch dogs, so we ask that you keep your pet on a leash while exploring the ranch.

We charge an additional pet fee for our furry guests of $39 per pet per night. Please contact us by letting us know within your booking details your pets.

With all the running, swimming and smelling to do, our Texas guest ranch
is not just pet friendly, it’s a pet paradise!

We Have Just a Few Rules for Pets and Their Owners to Follow!
During your stay, please observe the following guidelines:

Your pet must be kept on a leash at all times, except when in your room.
Pets must be house trained. If your pet has an accident in your room, please notify the housekeeping staff as soon as possible, to avoid permanent damage.
Please bring a dog bed and portable kennel.
Pets are not allowed on our furniture.
Please do not leave your pet unattended.
Avoid inconveniencing other guests by keeping barking to a minimum.
Please bring doggy bags and clean up after your pet.

Join us in celebrating 25 years at BlissWood Bed and Breakfast Ranch! Our pet-friendly accommodations have been that way since our founding and our dedication to caring for animals has carried on throughout the years and influenced everything we do. Not just 25 years of BlissWood, but 25 years of rescuing and rehabilitating animals on the ranch. We hope you will join us for this special occasion and get the chance to see some of the beautiful wildlife that we have on-property.
In 2010 Carol, the owner and innkeeper, began fostering Border Collies, a contribution that has now become a dedicated passion with over 300 foster dogs passing through the Ranch on the way to their forever homes. Some of our adorable Border Collies stayed with us and live full lives on the ranch with tons of room to play and run around. They also play an essential part in our famous Solo Traveler Package! Add this package to your pet-friendly cabin in Texas and you will be partnered with a canine companion on arrival to accompany you on all your various adventures! These dogs, as well as others on the Ranch, will all be available for adoption. You can also make a donation if you wish to support the Border Collie rescue directly.

Though our Border Collies are truly delightful company, we also have a large variety of other animals at our Texas dude ranch for our guests to meet!

The Exotic Animal Safari is a 45-minute guided expedition through our exotic pasture and is a great way to catch a glimpse of Red Deer, Blackbuck Antelope, and more! You can also visit Carol’s special horse “John John” that has been with her for 25 years! Now enjoying a peaceful retirement, he loves to meet new people and would love it if you came by and said hello! Another great way to get up close and personal with the wildlife is with a morning ranch feeding tour as a part of our Texas Kids Fun Package. Give the animals a nice breakfast and interact with a wide variety of unique creatures from all across the globe!

To this end, we also offer pet-friendly weddings so that your pet can accompany you on such an important occasion!
