This property is very beautiful, the inside is very modern with ample amount of space for a large party of people. The pool house is also a nice touch, for those who want to sleep away from the larger group.

Great property(family friendly) as we traveled with 4 grandkids. Short distance to the Riverwalk and downtown(less than 10 minutes). Would definitely recommend and plan to boom again when we're in the area.

Our family loved our time in this beautiful and spacious home. There is plenty of room for a large group to spread out. The pool house was a bonus to give some quiet space away from the larger group. The pool was perfect and the property is centrally located. The pictures do not do it justice. The grandkids are already asking when we are going back!

We had a fantastic stay! Our group of 13 was in town for a concert, and the house was perfect for a mix of kids (10–17) and adults, with plenty of space and great hangout areas for everyone. The outdoor space was a highlight—the pool and hot tub were both great and got lots of use. The host was incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with, making everything seamless. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it for large groups!

Family Reunion Treasure

We had my husband’s family reunion here! We enjoyed the wonderful amenities and the numerous spaces to gather on the fabulous property. The location allows you to get to San Antonio’s attractions!

Absolutely Amazing Stay! We had 18 family and friends coming from several states to celebrate my 45th birthday, and this home was PERFECT! Spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and the owners truly thought of everything. Pool towels, laundry supplies, shampoo/conditioner/body wash in every bathroom, and plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, garbage bags, etc. As someone who travels with a large family, I can tell you most rentals provide the bare minimum. These owners go above and beyond!The pool was the perfect size for our group, with plenty of seating so everyone could swim, float, relax, talk, laugh, and enjoy the backyard together. The provided pool floats were a great touch! The guest house was fantastic, and every bedroom and bathroom was beautifully designed while still showcasing the home's charm.The open kitchen was perfect for group breakfasts, with plenty of seating between the dining area, kitchen table, and oversized island. The extra fridge in the guest house was great for drinks!The location was fantastic—close to a beautiful walkable lake trail, Starbucks (LOL!), the River Walk, Missions baseball, and only about 15 minutes from the airport.The owners were incredibly responsive, answering questions within minutes and handling anything needed the same day.Guests ranged from 5–60, and EVERYONE loved it! I got credit for finding the place, but the credit belongs to the owners! They set a whole new standard for vacation rentals.

Clean remodel of classic home. Loved the multiple living room spaces to gather in different groups. Pool was a bit smaller than it looks in the pictures but it was plenty large for the 10 of us. Hot tub was good as well.

Perfect spot

Great spot for our team to have a planning meeting with some fun worked in as well. Perfect set up for con workers to have separen sleeping space with private bathrooms too. And great common rooms for eating and relaxing - tons of space. Outdoor areas are perfect too.

Perfect House for Large Groups

We stayed in The Gatsby in late February, 2025. Our group consisted of 12 guys and the house worked perfectly for us. The house had 12 beds, two really great living spaces, an awesome kitchen as well as really nice outdoor space. Would definitely recommend and will stay here again. Thanks again for the great accommodation!

Great house! Perfect for large gatherings

The house was decorated beautifully and comfortably. Tons of seating areas, kitchen is well stocked, plenty of towels etc. There were 17 of us and this house was a wonderful place to stay and hang out. The owners were very helpful anytime we had any questions or concerns. The first night there was a bright light from the neighboring house shining into the master bedroom, we told the owners and they promptly installed blackout curtains that day!! Really great service. Kids loved the putting and the pool. We highly recommend this house!

Perfect Retreat Home with Outstanding Hospitality!

We had the most incredible stay at The Gatsby for our board retreat! The property was spacious, beautifully decorated, and had every amenity we could have asked for to make our time together both productive and relaxing. The layout was perfect for our group, with plenty of space to spread out yet cozy enough to foster connection. The location was ideal, offering easy access to everything we needed while still feeling like a private getaway.What truly made our experience exceptional was the host. Great a Company Retreat Stay

My team and I stayed here for our sales retreat. The house was beautiful. Ample space all around and the amenities were great. Located perfectly to still get to the city and with how the house was, we canceled some of our dinner plans and outdoor activities to stay in and fellowship with each other. The only issue we had was the hot tub wasn't working but that was miniscule in comparison to the time we had. Great place to stay, beds for everyone, filled with games and activities so you're never ever bored. Pool was beautiful too. Great hosts. Anyone who picks to stay here will enjoy their time. No complaints!

Terrific place for a gathering

We held a family reunion at the Gatsby and it was perfect for all ages with something to do for everyone. The house setup accommodates many people comfortably. Super fun putt putt golf, corn hole, swimming pool and spa. Beautiful outdoor area and amenities that we used more than the inside of the house. The kitchen was well equipped and held many cooks. The host was quick to respond to questions. The house is decorated very cute and stylish and had ample towels, 3 washer/dryers, and a Casita that was awesome with 2 guest rooms, bathroom and a kitchenette with full size fridge. Highly recommend this home for a getaway as it was a short drive to the airport and Riverwalk.

Great getaway

We came as a group of 8 coaches for coaching clinic. So there were 8 adult males that stayed on the property very comfortably. Pool was great large kitchen and dining room table plus a grill for all meals and card games. Outdoor space was awesome plus the automatic gate helped us feel more secure and able to park off the road. Andrew and I communicated the whole time to make sure we were comfortable and everything was working properly. The hot tub wasn’t filled when we got there but in the Texas heat we didn’t need it. Overall great experience and will most definitely look for this house in the future when visiting for coaching school!

Had a great stay here! Plenty of space throughout the main house and the pool house. The pool is tiny bit smaller than expected, however it was still great and perfect for our trip! Was easy to access from airport and to downtown. Communication with host was excellent and extremely responsive!!

We choose this property for a family reunion and it was perfect. Close to the attractions, lots of space and a great pool. When we rent, cleanliness is number one and this property was immaculate. Everything worked and every remote had good batteries--a pet peeve of mine! Kids loved the Xbox and the big kitchen was a favorite meeting place. I would definitely recommend the Mouse House for your large gatherings.

We found the property to be clean and easily accessible for our family of 14 (ages 82-19) or five families. The host was especially attentive from day one throughout the entire process. The outside pool, covered deck and grill areas were terrific, The outside sleeping area was perfect for our four granddaughters and fence, privacy gate for secure sense of mind..The first floor space was perfect from living room sitting area conversation to the back family room for a large group watching the NBA western finals. The one bathroom upstairs made us stretch our creativity by utilizing our three full bathrooms on the main floor.We want to compliment the fully furnished kitchen with functionality and supplies.As it pertains to supplies we would recommend one tissue box in each bed/bath area..We are a family of 14 (3 generations) who does a destination MDay weekend of 4 nights. The communication was online 100% and very responsive with quick assistance to whatever was needed. We can’t say enough of this service coming from a generation of old school who is self trained. I feel like a friend for life and we never had a chance to shake hands, eye contact and a hug of gratitude and thanks.We have moved on with our new world and just want our host to feel the warmth from an old school customer Our family destination event moves every year, however, if we were caught with no location I can guarantee you THE GATSBY would receive a vote for a return.Thanks Bruce and Linda Hill
