We have rented many places in Deer Valley over the years and this one, unfortunately, comes in at the bottom of the list. The location was great for its proximity to SnowPark and access to the trails (we were there in summer for mountain biking), and Park City host was responsive and communicative, but the unit was sorely lacking in the basics of a vacation rental--the master bedroom window was stuck open and the road noise was very load. PC Host sent someone to get it closed but then we couldn't open it again. The other windows in the house had no screens so had to run the A/C the entire time. The patio and the furniture were dirty. No potholders, broken wine openers, and the Teflon on all the pots/pans was so scarred we didn't want to use them (PC Host replaced all of these promptly). The hot tub was unusable due to a broken motor. The TV in the living room could stand to be upgraded (the OS is so slow it takes a solid 2 minutes to get to any app). It wasn't all negative though - location great, the beds are comfy, the managers were responsive, the garage was a great amenity. Renters should note there are about 20 outside steps to get to the unit. Not a problem for us, but if you have limited/reduced mobility it might be an issue. I would say if you're a big family on a budget, maybe this would make a good rental. I think with some improvements and more attention to detail by the owners, it could be a great rental for most everyone.
