Deze accommodatie wordt beheerd door een particuliere eigenaar (een partij die niet handelt vanuit zijn/haar vakgebied, bedrijf of beroep). De consumentenwetgeving van de EU, met inbegrip van het herroepingsrecht, is niet van toepassing op je boeking. Je boeking wordt wel gedekt door het annuleringsbeleid van de particuliere eigenaar.

Afhankelijk van het accommodatiebeleid kan voor extra personen een toeslag in rekening worden gebracht.

I love bringing old houses back to life. And this one was so perfect. It needed some love and I was looking for a house to love. When I walk into a house, I know very quickly if we're a good fit. And this house was that house. It needed a new kitchen and bathroom, a good coat of paint and the floors sanded, plus a lot more, so I got to work, hired the best people and 5 months later, here it is. I stood in the kitchen the other day and felt like the curtain was going up for opening night. The light was streaming into the kitchen and the restored kitchen cabinets alongside the new kitchen cabinets felt warm and inviting. I don't know what I love more, the restoration part or welcoming guests to enjoy the house. This has been a dream come true and it is a work in progress as well. Next spring I am restoring the back porch and landscaping. But for now, it's ready to go.

Northfield is special. My third son was born here 32 years ago. And it has changed little since then. That's what makes it special. Northfield is old Vermont. There are covered bridges and shops and now a cool brew pub and coffee shop, caring people, and a low key vibe. At the same time, Norwich Univeristy offers so much, and from the house, you can almost hear the crowd cheering the latest football game. It's a lovely, welcome community and a easy drive to Montpelier, 15 minutes away.

This village home is set back off the Main Street, so it's quiet and feels secluded, yet you can walk to Norwich and to the coffee shop in minutes. The house is special. It has such a good feel to it. It's warm and welcoming with the sun coming in the kitchen. The kitchen is fully renovated, with all new appliances, as is it bathroom. So it's cozy and a place to gather and relax after fun filled Vermont stay.
