We had an amazing stay! 7 adults and 7 kids between the ages of 7-12. We loved the pool, hot tub, deck, sun room area. The large dining room table was perfect. Kayaking on the river was splendid! A short drive into the city to explore all that Nashville has to officer. It was an all around spectacular week!

Our family of 6 adults and 4 children thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is nicely equipped. We enjoyed the pool floats and games and the kayaks were a nice bonus. A huge selection of life jackets was a nice addition. The location was perfect. Close to attractions yet in a nice, quiet neighborhood. So many trees provide privacy from neighbors. Seth was an exceptional host. He quickly responded to messages and provided helpful information throughout the visit. (Ie: garbage pickup and pool cleaning services)

The host (Seth) was very accommodating and communicated quickly with our questions. We had 15 adults and had a great time. The bedrooms were clean and beds were comfortable. The dining area was large and the table sat all 15 people comfortably for our family meals. The pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained. There were plenty of pool towels and bath towels for our use. I was hauling a boat on my way to Florida and the roundabout LONG driveway was very beneficial. We woke up to deer in the back yard every morning. There were plenty of restaurants and grocery's within a few miles. They do have canoes/kayaks for our use, as well as fishing poles, which provided additional activities for everyone. Although we didn't get to use the fire pit, there is plenty of firewood, which an abundance of chairs to sit around the large fire pit. The internet worked fine for everyone and plenty of areas to charge phones/iPads/computers. Overall...it was a great experience and I would definitely stay there again.

Our family of 14 spent a long family reunion weekend at this Old Hickory Lake House. The property is amazing! There was ample room for all our sleeping requirements. The kitchen layout was perfect for cooking and enjoying family meals and celebrations together. We spent a good deal of time in the pool and jacuzzi, and fishing on Lake Hickory. All the amenities this house has to offer made our stay that much more enjoyable. The house was well stocked with nice linens, towels, hand soap, Kleenex and toilet paper. Seth, the property manager was easy to communicate with, and made the check-in process seamless. There was also plenty of room to park multiple vehicles and two boat trailers in the large circular driveway. The family witnessed a vast array of native wildlife both on the property and out on the lake. The house is located in an ideal setting. It offers peace and tranquility and easy access to the city. Rent this house and you will have it all!

A quiet retreat full of activities

This was a lovely home with large eating space and plenty of rooms to gather or find quiet space. A large yard with great fire pit, pool and hot tub. It is a perfect spot for a large (16) member family but also is quaint for a smaller group, too. Communication with owner was excellent!
