I really appreciated the Clear directions to the property. The host went above and beyond to accommodate some special requests I had regarding fragrances used on the property. Beautiful views! We had everything we needed.

Relaxing getaway

This was exactly what we needed and were looking for in a secluded house with a beautiful setting. House was very clean and Kelsey was great to work with and very responsive.

Peaceful Retreat

This is an absolutely gorgeous place to get in touch with the beauty of the upper peninsula. Very peaceful with all the amenities you could ask for. A picture perfect view inside and out!

Peaceful winter paradise

Wonderful property in the upper peninsula. Driving distance to many winter attractions, such as eben ice caves, munsing, and kitch-iti-kipi. House was clean and loved all the little touches. Highly recommend.

Long Weekend Away

This was the perfect place to get away and disconnect for a few days. If you want peace and quiet this is the place for you. Property was clean and as described. We took the kayaks out each day and we're the only ones on the lake. We would definitely go back.

Relaxing!

My sister and I stayed at the cottage with my sister’s 20-year-old twin son and daughter. My sister and her kids live in Texas so it was wonderful to spend so much time with them. My sister and her kids were finishing a 2 week driving tour of the east coast cities and so were happy to finally be somewhere they could swim, kayak, have bonfires, read, play games, and relax. The property was even better than described. I have to say it was the best equipped kitchen I have ever come across in a vacation rental. I love to cook and I had everything I needed to prepare meals for my loved ones. We utilized the boats, lake, and beach and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would love to return next summer!

Beautiful Secluded Property

We stayed in February hoping to get some ice fishing in. Unfortunately the weather didn't hold up for us and there was quite a bit of snow and slush on the lake. The house is very secluded on a one way road. The view from the bay window is absolutely beautiful. The house is cozy, we brought our laptop for movies since the provided internet worked great. The fishing wasn't great but we made the most of it. The host was very responsive, unfortunately if not in wifi range we didn't get much reception, which is no big deal. If you're looking for a secluded get away to unplug this is the place. Thank you Kelsey for the quick responses whenever we needed anything, I think we'd like to come back in the summer when there is less snow and easier access to the lake.

Wonderful house right on the lake

The house is perfectly wonderful. The best stocked kitchen we have run across in renting 10+ vacation homes over the last decade. Two private bedrooms. A spacious living room, and even a dedicated workout room. While the hosts were thoughtful enough to provide two kayaks for our use (along with safety vests), we were never able to fit them into our schedule. A really nice (and totally unexpected) addition was the presence of three hummingbird feeders, which were in very active use throughout our stay. Watching hummingbirds at any time of day provided far better entertainment than a TV would have (we have yet to turn on a TV at any vacation rental home we have used, so the absence of one was a benefit, although I understand others may feel differently. All in all, a place I hope to return to the next time we visit the upper peninsula.
