Coastal Cool meets Romantic Charm, 1.2 mile to beach, 10-minute walk to 3rd St. Promenade, 20-minute walk to Santa Monica Pier. We are a few blocks from the Metro. Guests have their own private entrance, private living room, private bedroom with a Restoration Hardware king size canopy bed, private kitchenette, private bathroom. We're walking distance to dozens of restaurants, Santa Monica Place Mall. Yet, its quiet and peaceful. We use organic, non-scented detergent for linens (organic cotton) and towels. Bedroom has shutters and black out curtains to make sure you have a restful sleep. Sunny and happy space inspired with beach/ocean decor because we are so close to the beach.
Note: A majority of our guests prefer not to have a Television included, but if you wish, we can place one upon request.

Great Place in Santa Monica

We were in town for two nights to visit the Getty Villa in Pacific Palisades. We also were traveling with two bikes that needed a safe place to be stored. This unit was perfect for our needs. It is exactly like the pictures with the added bonus of a courtyard behind a locked gate where the owner allowed us to stash our bikes. They were perfectly safe. The bed was extremely comfortable and there were plenty of extra blankets and throws for our use. The hostess left some snacks that came in handy and we were appreciative of them being there after many hours on the road. The unit is on the north side of the 10 and we liked the location. It was an easy drive to Santa Monica and Montana Blvds where a lot of the restaurants and shops are located. It was also pretty close the the beach, a little over 10 blocks up and a quick ride on the bikes. Check-in was super simple and check-out even easier. We would definitely stay here again!

Darling place but ask questions before

My daughter and I stayed here for a weekend volleyball tournament. We were there to sleep and eat. This place is a darling cottage with a beachy decor. She leaves water bottles and a few snacks too. The bed was very comfortable too! Parking is street parking only but she gives you a pass. A suggestion for those booking, make sure you ask the host for items that are in the listing but not there. Before our stay, I did confirm with her there was only 1 king bed but in the listing she had 2. I didn’t think to ask for a tv or dishes, since those were in the listing. So when we arrived and I asked for them, I was told I needed to request them. There were utensils but no dishes or glassware. Also in the listing was a hot tub and spa whirlpool, which there is not. But that wasn’t a big deal to us. The shower was small but worked great. We were certainly able to sleep, but the eating was difficult. Seller did offer a mini refund for our troubles.

Great stay in Santa Monica

We really enjoyed our stay, and Martha was a great host. There is easy street parking, an easy walk to Santa Monica shops / the Pier, and overall it was just a great experience. Martha even personalized our entrance with a “Happy Anniversary” sign!
