From the serenity of its setting to the abundance of activities nearby, this East Falmouth cottage is classically Cape Cod in all the best ways. Named for the area's blissfully calm waters protected by the islands, Calm Seas Cottage is a place to find relaxation at any time of year.

This two-story home is part of a tranquil neighborhood just behind Mill Pond, where it sits within a few blocks of the Coonamessett Greenway Heritage Trail and one of the best birding spots on the Cape. Drive to Menauhant Beach and downtown Falmouth in a matter of minutes, and wander over to the Cape Cod Winery and Bad Martha's Brewery after a day in the sun. Looking to golf? The Falmouth Country Club is practically around the corner. Heading out to the islands for the day? Catch the ferry to Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard at the Woods Hole Terminal, eight miles away.

Whether it's winter or summer sun streaming in through the windows, this cottage has a way of making you feel at home. After a day at the beach, play with your kids in the spacious yard, dine outside on the deck, and breathe in the fragrance of the fresh ocean air. In spring, fall, and winter, snuggle up by the fireplace with a good book, stream movies on the living room's smart TV, and play board games at the kitchen table.

In the evenings, find two bedrooms - one with a smart TV and a desk workspace - on the main floor. There's additional sleeping space downstairs with another smart TV and a ship's wheel that spins to entertain the kids. A washer/dryer, window air-conditioner, and complimentary WiFi are provided as well.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
