A charming home built in 1872, The Laughing Boar is nestled in the heart of the downtown Hermann Historic District. Come home to 4 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms (3 Fulls & 2 Halves), and a loft area with day bed and desk. Accommodating up to 11 guests. The Laughing Boar is walking distance to the Amtrak Station, Hermannhoff Winery, Tin Mill Brewery, coffee shops, restaurants, bars, and nightlife. The Boar looks forward to hosting you!
*The Laughing Boar is under new ownership! The entire house has been extensively cleaned and all new bed linens and towels have been purchased. Look forward to ongoing upgrades, such as indoor and outdoor paint, coming very soon!

The Laughing Boar- Perfect for the Occasion
Celebrated my wife's birthday by visiting Hermann, MO for the weekend. The home was perfect for our group ( 6 adults, 2 toddlers). We loved the location, charm, and accommodations the home offered. Ample bedrooms and bathrooms. Back patio was a nice touch for hanging out in the mornings and evenings. Location was perfect for visiting all of the shops and restaurants in town. Great host and made the entire process a breeze. Highly recommend and will be coming back!

Great for gathering and very walkable
The Laughing Boar provided everything our group of 8 needed. The dining room table was where we spent most of our time in the house. Both the dining room and living room had great space for laughing and catching up. This place is very well located for walking to everything in Hermann city. Parking is on the street with a couple places in the back. We had five cars and no parking issues. Cassie was great and easy to comminicate with. Great weekend.

Everything about our stay at the Laughing boar was perfect .The decor was creative and quaint, The amenities were abundant. And the location was perfectly convenient to shopping and dining. We couldn't have asked for anything better. Hermann is a perfect getaway for our group to to relax, enjoy time together and forget about life in the fast lane.

Awesome family wedding house
We were able to have family stay with us and additional family was housed in 2 other homes just a block away, all here for a wedding. Shopping and restaurants were an easy walk. Very enjoyable Memorial Day weekend!

Amazing Wine Weekend
Our friend group has been visiting Hermann, Mo for 10+ years and love every minute of it! The Laughing Boar Guesthouse is the perfect place to make lots of memories with friends and family! The location of the house is perfect and all the art and decor make the stay so fun! We will be back!

Family Time Headquarters
This was a wonderful fall get-away with my brothers, sisters, sisters-in-laws, husband, and brother-in-law. We could gather at the dining room table and visit. The living room was a good place for visiting, too. The bedrooms were spacious as well. Exactly as pictured online. Because we were located so close to bars, restaurants, and shopping, we could walk to most places where we wanted to experience. Excellent location. What impressed me the most was the “business” side of our stay. It was easy to view details about The Laughing Boar, to book online, and to clearly see all the itemized charges. When I had questions, I received timely answers which helped us better prepare for our get-away. A stress-FREE experience that allowed us to enjoy ourselves!

Perfect Location in the Heart of Hermann
The house was perfect for our group of 10 adults! Very clean and inviting with plenty of room. We loved the large dining room table for conversation and games. Everyone had a very comfortable place to sleep. The decor was great and just an overall great place to relax and enjoy. The house was conveniently and centrally located near many of our favorite places in Hermann. Would definitely recommend and look forward to returning to the Laughing Boar!

Super Cute- great location!
Girls trips are good for the soul and this one with my mother and sister in laws was wonderful! Loved the location we were able to walk to all over and catching the trolly was a breeze! Can’t wait to go back!

Amazing Bachelorette Weekend
This house is group for groups who need separate rooms and bathrooms. The house is beautiful and eclectic and great location close to downtown food, shops, coffee, wineries, etc.

Perfect location for a weekend in Hermann!
A very comfortable home filled with a fun style and design. We had two couples in our party, each taking the two main floor bedrooms, though plenty of room for more upstairs. Walking distance to everything! You are just a short 2-3 minute walk from live music, food, and drinks. And our host was very attentive ensuring that we got settled and to contact her with any questions or concerns. Would definitely stay here again.
