My family of 14, seven children and 7 adults thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Winters Haven! The property was beautiful (we saw a bear the first day) and the house had large bedrooms, a large kitchen, and a second den area adjacent to the ping pong and pool tables which everyone enjoyed. The furnishings are a bit outdated and some should probably be replaced (gross recliner and slit leather chairs) but the house was comfortable, roomy, and very clean. Wish we had paid to have the pool heater turned on.

This home made for a great weekend. We all had plenty of space, enjoyed the hot tub, and found everything we needed. Location is wonderful for feeling like you’re remote but being close to all the fun of Asheville.

Perfect house for a group!

We had a wonderful time here and it was the perfect fit for a group of 10 girls. Hot tub was perfect for the cold nights and only about 15min from downtown Asheville. Would stay again!

Cozy fun stay, room for a large group

This house was great for a large gathering and especially for children. The separate living areas, toys, large bathrooms, and outdoor space were all pluses. The company was also excellent to work for.

Great location

This property is close to area attractions while still feeling remote. Provate forepit and jot tub were a plus. The kitchen was well stocked for making family meals. Great place for our family of 10 adults and 2 babies

Great Stay at a Wonderful Home!

This house has cozy and fully equipped if you are looking for a place to stay for a long weekend in Asheville. We wish we could have stayed for a few days longer to enjoy all the amenities. We will be back!

Lovely retreat!

We had a wonderful girls weekend! Such a beautiful place. The kitchen was such a nice size to prepare meals all weekend. Every bedroom was spacious and comfortable. We plan to come back!

3 generation Family get away

Comfortable house, lots of space, very comfortable but not fancy. A casual comfortable Get away. Small property but conveniently located. We had a great time. Great for all ages.

Enjoyable Stay at Winters Haven

My husband and I and three other couples stayed at this property for 6 days in early November. The house is beautiful and is located in a very private community in Fairview about 15 minutes from Asheville. We were 8 adults in our 60s+ and found the house extremely comfortable and well equipped.

Perfect House

The house treated our group of 11 friends perfectly. Far enough removed, while still extremely convenient to downtown Asheville. The house was comfortable, plenty big, and had everything we wanted for an enjoyable long weekend stay.

fantastic getaway home

Yonder made this stay as simple as possible. From check in to check out and all the time in between! Very spacious and fully stocked with all the necessities. Close to downtown asheville and loads of hiking! Highly recommend.

Big cabin with all the facilities needed for multiple families to stay, large bedrooms, large bathrooms, and kitchen with all the convenience. Not far from Atlanta and well located in Asheville. However, everything is very very old and uncomfortable since its very old. Cabin is need of all new furniture and appliances. even when clean, everything looked unclean. the couches, beds, blankets rough and uncomfortable. the management company was communicative before reservation process, since it was a short stay we did not contact company to request a change in cabins.

Great rental for a family gathering.

The house had plenty of room for 4 teenagers and 3 adults. The hot tub, fire pit, pool table and ping pong table were big hits for both the teens and adults in our group. The kitchen had all of the necessary equipment for feeding a large group. The beds were very comfortable and the house was nicely decorated. We enjoyed our stay immensely!

Great time

Very nice cabin for a group of friends. Short drive to Asheville (or Uber will pick you up for less than $10). Kitchen is well stocked with supplies. The management was very friendly and helpful. Had one minor issue, and called and they took care of it right away. This place is ideal for a group of friends.

Beautiful home and all the extras. Very close to Asheville and other areas we visited. Only complaint we had was the rock stairs leading up to the home were very dark at night and there were no lights to show path - several people stumbled. Other than that, everything was wonderful!!! We will definitely plan another getaway to this locations.

Great time at Winters Haven. Well equipped and very comfortable.

The only things preventing five stars are 1) great CD collection but the audio receiver would only play out of one speaker; and 2) the hot tub has a grounding issue. If standing barefoot on wet ground, it rained, and you put your hand in the water you can feel a small electric tingle. After that we decided not to get in.

Comfortable

We enjoyed the home but there are a lot of stairs to climb just to enter the home and then to reach the main level. Then front rock walkway was very slippery so we then had to enter through the garage. We also felt that the driveway should be lit a bit better for nighttime backing out of driveway. Overall nice home but limited sunset views.
