Welcome to Mimi’s Dream. Mimi’s Dream is a 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath family home located in the famous Pirates Cove Marina. Just a short drive to the beach, this wonderful rental has all the amenities you need to have a spectacular trip full of memories. Mimi’s Dream boasts 2 master bedrooms with adjoining full baths, 2 other large bedrooms with an easily accessible separate bath. The large open floor plan allows everyone enough room to socialize while cooking, hanging out on decks, but also has enough rooms to allow everyone some privacy. A large, fully equipped, spacious kitchen and dining area great for family dinners and recounting the day’s events. Large, spacious living area upstairs that has a big tv and lots of windows to view the decks or different aspects of the Marina. The home has a large wrap around deck furnished with nice chairs great for watching sunsets or enjoying morning coffee. The upper level also has a large deck equipped with chairs and a table for relaxing after a long day at the beach. There are large parking areas under the house for 4 cars and front and back stairways to access the home. There is a private walkway to the canal behind the house great for fishing and crabbing. Additional perks of Mimi’s Dream include – a private gated marina offering a safe area for you and your family; access to a large pool area with concession stand, hot tub, and kiddie pool; a large fenced playground for children; tennis and pickle ball courts; sand volleyball courts, a pavilion picnic area with grills, and a workout facility all within a 150 yard walk. Enjoy a quick walk to the marina each evening to watch the boats bring in the daily catch (mahi, tuna, wahoo, and occasional Marlin); the Tiki Bar with nightly entertainment; or eat dinner at the top-notch restaurant located in the marina. Located across the street from the marina is a recently renovated public area with 4 boat ramps, and a long pier built for fishing and crabbing. Only a short drive to the Beach, Janette’s Pier, outlet malls, grocery stores, hospital, aquarium, and many other local favorites. Mimi’s Dream is an all-in-one vacation paradise that is looking forward to its second season as a VRBO rental. My family has made countless incredible memories and now we want to offer the same to you and your family!

We had a great time staying in Mimi’s Dream. Very comfortable, clean home within minutes of our favorite spots on the OBX. Had everything we needed, plus owner was very helpful if we needed anything additional. Our fur babies loved the home too!!! We will definitely stay in Mimi’s Dream again!!

Great location. Very clean. Owner is super attentive and helpful. Great area for families! House has everything-beach items, kayaks, well stocked kitchen, short walk to dock, pool, and renting a golf cart was easy as well. We hope to stay again sometime! :) thank you!!!

The Kern’s couldn’t have been more accommodating. The home has everything you would need. Very comfortable furnishings. You wouldn’t guess that the house is pet friendly as it was spotless. Pirates Cove is lovely and convenient to everything. I highly recommend a stay there.

Our stay was a 10 out of 10 at this home away from home. The house was exceptionally clean and well equipped. Everything you need is there plus. The walking docks were 30 steps out the back deck and they go for a long time, which was great for morning walks. Host was Very Quick for communication and helps us with everything we had questions on. House location was perfect for access to Ocean or Sound side. The secure gate entry with patrol, helps you relax and rest assured that there is no crime. We highly recommend this beautiful, relaxing, quiet home if you’re looking to feel at home while on a beach vacation.Will be back again!Thanks

The house was very clean and spacious.The host was sympathetic with me when we had to change dates due to a family emergency. My son actually talked with Brian while he was fishing behind the house and Brian gave him a few fishing lures which really made my “40” year old sons day. I needed a fragrance free home for my family due to COPD and grandkids asthma issues and he came through for me. That really meant a lot to me. Thanks for a great place to stay. I would recommend this house to anyone.

Great Vacation House for the Family in Manteo

Great, spacious house with a fabulous location and a very gracious and accommodating host. The house is stocked with everything you could need The host was very flexible with our check in and check out times and helped when my wife left a bag behind. The location is great- with a pier right off the back, a restaurant and a pool just a short walk away. Neighborhood is quiet, friendly, and safe.

Manteo Vacation

This fully equipped house was perfect for our family of 8 (4 couples). The hosts did a great job making it feel like our home while away from home, and were available to answer any questions or to offer tips/advice/suggestions during our stay. Pirates Cove Marina was a BEAUTIFUL complex to walk around, and also had a pool and a Pickleball court. The oyster bar and tiki hut within the complex are a must for good food and drinks. Can't say enough about our visit.

Living Mimi’s Dream

I cannot say enough about this home. It was super pet friendly and pups had a great time. Location was perfect. Walk out the back and you are on the docks.Brian was probably the best host we have ever had. Super responsive and even got to meet his furbaby. There are two staircases to reach the top floor so be prepared if you struggle with stairs. Loved the wrap around deck on the first floor and all the gates so that my grandsons and my pups could enjoy freedom and the outside at the same time.

Brian was an excellent host. He went above and beyond reaching out ahead of time to check on us and see if we had any questions. The house was great, very spacious and well equipped. The pots, pans, and knives were great which is not usually the case in rental homes. The location is awesome in Pirates Cove, central to all the ammenities. The parking spaces under the house have plenty of room. There was also plenty of beach toys and chairs that was really convenient so we didn't have to bring our own. Oh and the washer and dryer in the nice utility room were huge! I have no complaints at all!
