Amazing stay, beautiful area, and close to all the must-sees. Downtown Gatlinburg is around 10 minutes with most trailheads being 15-30 minutes away. Worth the stay, would stay again for sure.

This space was perfect. I travelled with my family. My parents in their 80’s, I have a teenage son and a college age daughter. The space was perfect for everyone. The bedroom on the main floor was fantastic for my parents. Stairs were not a concern. The game room was perfect for the whole family. We even had some unexpected visitors, bears, and their visit helped make memories that will last a lifetime!

We absolutely loved our stay! The property was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. The location was perfect, and we truly enjoyed our time here. Great location, close proximity to many hikes and easy to get to both gatlinburg downtown area and pigeon forge. We did use the outdoor area frequently but be aware that bears will walk up the driveway.

We had high hopes for this place, but the host's poor customer service made the stay disappointing.From the start, the house wasn't as described. The listing showed two sets of bunk beds, but there was only one, and our kids were really disappointed. Had the listing been accurate, we would have booked elsewhere. When we raised this, the host was unwilling to offer any compensation.During our stay, one of the smoke alarms malfunctioned. We alerted the host, but it was never fixed.The common area isn't well suited to larger groups. There wasn't enough comfortable seating to lounge or watch a movie together. The kitchen was also short on basics: our group of 8 had to share two bowls, so bring your own if you book.We left the house spotless and followed every rule, yet the host gave us a one-star rating with no explanation.Other reviews suggest that if everything goes to plan, the stay can be great. But if anything goes wrong, don't expect this host to work with you.

Cabin is beautiful, clean, well stocked with amenities and in a great location. We had a wonderful time with our family over the New Year’s Eve school break. Would love to stay again!

A beautiful cabin and good location to town. But a few things let us down. First impression was that it wasn’t as personalized and clean as other stays we have had in the past. & the pictures definitely give you false expectations. You are surrounded by cabins with little to no privacy in fire pit and hot tub area. Didn’t have a lot of things, so make sure you bring everything you need. For example, there were no scissors, not much soap, cleaning things, kitchen supplies, coffee, etc. Next, the fire alarms kept going off with low batteries and waking us up at night. & the cabin definitely could’ve been cleaner, we noticed the first day after walking around our feet were dirty just from walking around on the floor. Also, PLEASE be aware of bears!! As much as we were hoping to see some, we had 3 bears come up on us everyday to the point we didn’t feel safe. We stayed during October (prime feeding time for them) and had a momma bear and her 2 cubs come up on us when we’re trying to roast some marshmallows. After rushing inside, they ate all of stuff and messed some stuff up. The second morning, the momma bear broke into my car after making the mistake of leaving my car unlocked on accident. It went through everything and after asking the host for video, she said the camera only had live video and no history, which we thought was crazy. The momma bear kept coming out everytime we went outside. Also the beds and furniture seemed kind of cheap. Nice Cabin, but needs improvements!

Perfect location if you are staying for a tournament at Rocky Top Sports World (8 minutes drive). Grocery store (Food Mart) only a mile away so very convenient. Very close to downtown Gatlinburg! The house was very clean and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Nice covered patio to relax at anytime of the day. If we have another tournament at this location we would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay here. We saw a mama and bears cub early one morning, which my kids loved seeing! Nice outdoor area to play! Inside was clean and well maintained.

Scenic Getaway Was a Great Stay

Scenic Getaway was very clean and spacious and was very close to downtown Gatlinburg, the grocery store, and hiking trails. Wi-Fi worked great and the house had everything we needes for a great stay.
