Our family had a wonderful time at this property. Everything was supplied from beach towels to s'more sticks. Jeff was super helpful, friendly, and accommodating. The beds were comfortable and plenty of space or our family and guests who visited. We rented the pontoon and the kids had a blast tubing on the lake. Fabulous stay!

Jeff was a perfect host. Went above and beyond to make us comfortable! The sandy beach area was perfect for the grandkids to play and swim. Outdoor tables were great for meals. Covered deck on the fishing hut had comfortable furniture for relaxing and watching the kids play. Kayaks were great fun as well as the pontoon boat for exploring the lake, tubing and fishing. Kitchen was well stocked with all we needed. Bedrooms worked out fantastic for our family.

One of our favorite properties we have ever stayed! The hosts were amazing and getting to use the pontoon was the icing on the cake. Highly recommend! We will definitely be back for another stay!

Our family had an absolutely wonderful stay! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The house itself was exactly what we were looking for—spacious and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed to relax and enjoy our time together. The layout was perfect for our group, offering both inviting common areas for gathering and enough private space when we wanted to recharge. The outdoor space was a highlight as well, offering a relaxing area to unwind, whether that meant enjoying morning coffee, grilling, or simply spending quality time together. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the host. They were incredibly welcoming, responsive, and attentive to every question or need we had. It’s clear they take pride in providing a top-notch experience for their guests, and it made a huge difference in our stay.We created such great memories here and would absolutely return in the future. Best Fourth of July vacation!

The listing description was spot on and even better! Home is stocked with everything you might need. We were able to dock our fishing boat there and rent the pontoon anytime we wanted. Owners were friendly and very accommodating. Definitely a great vacation for our family.

we had a great stay at this beautiful cottage for the week. Host was great, available and loved he came and introduced himself. My grandson and I enjoyed Mill's and pizza from Zimmy's. I would highly recommend to any of my friends.

Very nice stay

The place was very clean when we arrived; very easy check-in and checkout. We enjoyed all the amenities (hot tub, outdoor fire pit, small beach, water activities, and grill). The kitchen was well-equipped and the owner was very responsive. We'd definitely come back!

An amazing trip!

This is one of the best trips we’ve taken! The perfect house rented from a great owner. This place has everything! The boats for fishing tubing and relaxing, the tree house, the sandy beach for the little ones, the hot tub, and the house fit everyone perfect. Recommend this place. We will be going back for sure!

The location and setting were great. House is not luxurious but very functional. It worked well for 3 couples. We assumed, from the listing, that the pontoon boat was included in the rental cost - it was not, and costs a significant amount extra to use. We loved the outdoor seating areas.

Great Stay

Jeff and his wife couldn't have been nicer or more accomodating. We had a great time and will definitely return. The house is perfect size for 2 families and the garage conversion with the double sets of bunks is perfect for kids! Thanks so much!

Great property, great location

Spent a 4 day weekend with the family at Jeff's place. Great area with a few restaurants, a great local grocery store. Peaceful setting on the water. We rented the pontoon as well and enjoyed our time cruising around Long Lake. Appreciated it being pet friendly. The covered area overlooking the lake and the docks was where we spent 80% of our time enjoying the fresh air and lake views. Jeff was very accommodating and ensured we enjoyed our time. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our syay very much! We couldn't have had more accommodating hosts. The place was very stocked with your needs, as in kitchen needs, towels, comfy beds, and recreation. If we need something Jeff was right there. We had some elderly with us. Jeff, the owner was right on the spot installing grab bars, to whatever was needed. I would stay here again, and would recommend this home . The fishing was great, convenient stores , and restaurants, close ,was a plus.. Fun for all ages!

Our family will never forget our week here. It was a rare gift of time together with our mom who is facing a terminal illness. The house could not have been more perfect—it gave us the gift of simply being together. It was spacious enough to host friends and relatives who rotated in and out, yet cozy enough to draw us all together. Our days were filled with kayaking, canoeing, and soaking in the beauty of the lake.The beds were heavenly, giving us much-needed rest. The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked many meals together, including a night of bluegill courtesy of Jeff, the homeowner. What touched us most was the owner’s compassion—checking in, offering flexibility, and truly caring about our experience. We left with hearts full of gratitude and heads full of lasting memories.

Perfect family lake retreat

We had a fantastic stay during the week of the 4th of July. The cottage was extremely clean and had all the necessities available. Our boys (ages 14 and 12) enjoyed using the kayaks and the convenience of seeing some of our friends on Long Lake, as well as, the access to Baldwin on the property Having Zimmy’s Tavern, George’s Bar & Grill, and Mills Grocery within a 2 minute walk is a HUGE plus. At the end of a long day on the lake takeout pizza from Zimmy’s was a family favorite. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. We can’t say enough positive comments about our experience.

We did enjoy our time at the lake. The owners were very responsive and took good care of us. For example , the dishwasher was terrible and when I brought this to their attention they had a new one installed by the next day. They also provided many amenities that you don’t often get with other rentals. Loved having the boat, but the weather wasn’t great and so we didn’t get to use it much as originally thought we would. (No fault of the owners!)The reason we could not give a rating of 5 stars is the house is older and it has some quirky stuff. The small bathroom has a slatted door and so there was no sound barrier. (Uncomfortable). The well pump ran during the night (we don’t know why), but it was very loud and disturbing. It was loud during the day too. Overall, the house is sound, but old and out of date. The parking was pretty tricky too. The hot tub was hot, but it was not very clean. It was green one night, but the owner had chemicals added the next day and that helped. The best part was the outdoor shelter - it was very nice. We really enjoyed that. The smoker grill was really good too. In conclusion- if you don’t expect a new home with a better flow and updated features, but want a reasonably priced home on a lake - then this fits the bill. You couldn’t ask for better owners and most lake homes are very expensive.
