This place was truly amazing - right on the beach and centrally located to downtown Capitola. Absolutely iconic! The host was so helpful with parking recommendations.

This is an unbelievable location right at the beach with an upstairs balcony that looks out over the beach and ocean. Property is well equipped.

We have rented Capitola #8 for 30 years. We have an annual family reunion where we rent 4 or 5 places. #8 is always the headquarters because of the location. Our hosts are super easy to work with and the cabin itself exceeds our needs. We will continue to enjoy the cabin and Capitola in Venetian for many years to come.

Exactly as listed inside the rental. Could be a touch more descriptive that parking will not likely be close during busy season/times. Overall enjoyed the location and proximity to the village and water!

Convenient location, I have never left a place anything but clean treating our stays even better than home. That being said there was a strong musty smell when we arrived. Would be nice to crack some windows prior to someone staying to avoid that being the first impression. The expectation to bring our own sheets and vacuuming before leaving, (even though place was kept clean) I have very mixed feelings about. All in all place is cute and we love Capitola and had a nice visit.

We stayed at the property for a week with our family. It was exactly as expected. Beautiful home, and a wonderful location right on the beach. We will definitely stay again!

But we'd love to hear what improvements we can make to have improved your rating to a 5-star. ;) (If related to guests needing to bring their own linens: of course, we have considered supplying them, it would just mean increasing the nightly rate pretty significantly - and we like to keep it as low as possible for our guests! We've found folks would prefer to keep the cost down and bring their own, but totally respect that this doesn't work best for everyone.) Location, location, location! We have rented several unique properties in the area over the years, and this one was truly a gem for our family. We have three teenagers, and they were able to safely explore the area together, walk to get ice cream, and visit the arcade just five minutes from the rental. The proximity to the beach also cannot be overstated, it made for an incredibly relaxing week.Because we live only about two hours north, driving made it easy to bring our own sheets and towels. After purchasing new sheets specifically for our stay, I couldn't help but feel a little bad thinking about how many guests likely do the same, then donate or throw them away because they don't fit the beds in their own homes (we donated 2 out of the 3 sets). It just doesn't feel like the most sustainable approach. Other than that minor detail, we had a wonderful experience and would happily stay here again.

This adorable beach house is perfect in every way! We absolutely loved our stay and will be back again next year. The owners were very responsive and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. Highly recommend.

Perfect weekend

We had so much fun staying in this cute beach house in capitola. The ceiling was a bit low for our 6’4” guest but that’s expected & was comical. The beach house has everything you need and is in the perfect location. Would definitely stay here again.

GREAT Location!

The property is well located and well maintained. The downstairs bathroom is very compact. It would be beneficial if linens and towels were supplied. Kitchen was very well supplied. Overall a great place.
