We had an amazing stay at lake house celebrating our son’s 17th birthday. The proximity to the water was unbeatable, and having the canoe and kayaks available on-site was a definite plus that we used every day. We loved drinking coffee on the deck overlooking Norris Lake every morning. The kitchen was well-stocked, communication with Mike was seamless, and the views were incredible. We’d book again in a heartbeat!

The house and location were both perfect. Easy access to the dock which is in a beautiful secluded cove. Mike was a great host! He emailed all the information needed for our stay and was very helpful with any questions we had. We will be back!!

Our stay at Big Creek was enjoyed by all. In addition to the lake and general conditions there were some hidden gems.The kitchen was the most well stocked we have ever encountered with many dishes etc. The cabinets were all clearly labeled which eliminated having to search for items.Instructions were clear.Communications with the host were great.

The house was perfect, beds very comfortable, lots of outdoor seating, including on the dock. Nice and quiet. Wonderful view of the lake. The owner very helpful, even though we didn't need a thing.

Great stay in Big Creek

I cannot recommend this stay and host enough. Mike goes above and beyond what any other host ever does and the house is meticulously maintained and in a great location. Thank you for a great week!

Great place with excellent dock.

Had a very nice stay at this property while fishing the lake for the week. The house and property were super clean. Everything we could have wanted was present at this property including friendly neighbors.

Great Getaway

We went here for our family vacation an absolutely loved it. The cleanest most organized vacation home we have ever stayed at. Location was great an access to water was perfect. The host were also very accessible if need be an great at responding. We would most definitely use again for next family vacation!

Perfect long weekend getaway

Our stay could not have been any better and Mike was an awesome host. Very communicative and the house was just right for us. Very clean, plenty of space for our group of 7 and wonderful access to the water. We look forward to coming back!

Our stay was great. We loved the porches and the house. Bring plenty of firewood and don't forget your boat! We would definitely stay again.

Quit, relaxing.

This home was super clean and very cozy. We had a large group and plenty of room. This is a very well maintained rental. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Home in a Beautiful Setting

We felt right at home the moment we walked in. It was clean and cozy with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The owner was wonderful to work with and made sure all of our needs were met. We enjoyed going out on the canoe and taking in the gorgeous sunsets and star gazing.

Summer vacation

Great house with great access to the lake. The kids enjoyed swimming from the dock and fishing from the kayaks! We will be back.

Family Vacation 2024

The property was everything we had hoped for and more! Plenty of room for two adults and four children. Kids enjoyed kayaking and swimming from the dock. Walk down to dock was easy with not a lot of steep steps. Enjoyed morning coffee and evening drinks on the deck. Property was very clean and well kept! We love Norris Lake and will definitely be looking to stay at this property again in the future.

Awesome place, so relaxing and quiet

We had rain the entire week but made ways to make it fun! There were moments of no rain and we were able to sneak out for a quick boat ride out for fun. The dock is perfect for my granddaughters to go out for some swimming and fun too, quiet and secluded. Thank you!

Labor day weekend

We had the absolute best time! The place was more than we expected. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The view of the lake was amazing and it was so nice to have the dock steps away. Our kids had the best time floating in the water and the kayaks were a nice bonus. We already want to go back. Thank you so much Mike!!
