Absolutely perfect property. The host was quick with responses and easy to talk with. Checked in after first 24hrs with making sure everything was good, only thing I wish this place had was washer and dryer with staying a week at the property but honestly that’s a small concern and would recommend to anyone to stay.

Best stay

Out of half a dozen or so cabin rentals, this one is the absolute best. It's clean, uncluttered, quiet, and huge! Water was hot, heater worked really well (it was a very cold week) and the kitchen worked well. Beds were comfy too. I can't say enough good things about this place!

A peaceful getaway

We loved our stay at the Rustic Retreat! The property is even more beautiful in person – a perfect place for stargazing and enjoying the sounds of nature. The cabin is spacious and clean. The clawfoot tub shower looks lovely but is a bit precarious to get in and out of, as it’s very elevated off the ground and quite slippery when wet. Take extra care! Overall, we would absolutely come back and recommend this rental to anyone looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway.

This is such a great place! It was perfect for our family of 4. Our 14 and 12 year old loved the loft space, and my husband and I were super comfy in the bedroom. The lower level was great for family time in the evening, and where we all hung out at the end of the day. The property surrounding was so peaceful and helped us feel completely relaxed. We have land at Lake Carroll, and this was an easy 20 minute drive. Looking forward to staying here again when we come back!

We chose the location for Rustic Retreat because of its true sense of peace, privacy, and rural charm. Surrounded by open countryside near Pearl City, it offers guests a chance to slow down, disconnect, and enjoy nature without the noise and crowds of city life. We loved the wide-open spaces, quiet nights, wildlife, and the feeling of escaping to a simpler, more relaxing setting that’s increasingly hard to find.
