Ons klassieke en mooie strandhuis ligt dicht bij alles en het is zeer ruim! Met uitzicht op de Stille Oceaan, bent u slechts een steenworp afstand van de landelijke en serene Gearhart-duinen en het strand.
Met veel slaapkamers en een grote, open plattegrond kunnen we u en uw gasten ontvangen. Elke kamer heeft zijn charme met veel opbergruimte. Klassiek kralenbord en grote, beeldvensters markeren de zonnige stijl. Geniet van het dek en de tuin - na een dag op het strand, kom terug en barbecue terwijl u geniet van de zeewind, of gezellig bij de prachtige rivier rock houtgestookte open haard. Geniet van het klauwvoetenbad, kook in de prachtige bijgewerkte keuken met vrienden of ontspan in de kuil, maak een puzzel, speel kaarten of neem werk mee (als je moet!) omdat het huis beschikt over WiFi, kabel, dvd, zodat u contact kunt houden in dit volledig bijgewerkte en charmante historische huis op 'Martini Hill'.
Een wandeling van vijf minuten brengt u naar het bekende Pacific Way Cafe, Sugar Shack en Gearhart Market. Nog dichterbij zijn de tennis- en basketbalvelden en de historische Gearhart Golf Course en het Sand Trap Restaurant van McMenamin. Om meer actie te krijgen, bent u slechts 5 minuten rijden van Seaside, 10-15 minuten naar Cannon Beach in het zuiden en slechts 15 minuten naar het historische Astoria in het noorden.

Just what we needed! The location was perfect, and Christine and Gary were so friendly and helpful. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need. This beautiful and cozy beach cabin turned out to be an ideal spot for our group to relax and enjoy!

The house was very comfortable and very close to the beach and coffee shop. The mattresses were noisy, harder than we are used to, and the shower in the master bath is not usable because if water gets on the floor it runs out the kitchen ceiling leaving one shower for five adults. Putting the shower curtain inside the tub was not adequate to prevent the water problem. The yard was beautiful and the house was very charming. The owners were very responsive when we called and obviously love their property.

We returned to the Gearhart house after a previous stay because we enjoyed the accommodation so much. It has everything we needed for comfort, enjoyment and ease of communication! We are very grateful for this experience!

Lovely, cozy beach get away

This home is cozy and charming, with plenty of room for all your guests to sleep comfortably, relax by the wood burning fireplace or play games/share a meal at the large dining table. Large kitchen with everything you would need for cooking meals. The host was just amazing and very responsive. The location can't be beat as it's within easy walking distance to the beach as well as the quaint village with shops and small grocery. Would definitely stay here again.

2024 Thanksgiving Stay in Gearhart

We had a delightful stay in Gearhart over the Thanksgiving holiday. The house was quaint, lovely and accommodating with full amenities and the location had nearby easy beach access and was within walking distance to shopping and eateries. We will definitely return.

Amazing weekend

The Gearhart Beach house was a lovely place to stay. Beautiful neighborhood, a nice walk to the sand, a well-stocked house, and elk! The owners were very responsive when we had a question and the house was very comfortable just to lounge around in front of the fire. Cute town with an amazing bakery. Good house for a girls weekend.

Gearhart family vacation

The house is very suitable for family gathering. However, it wasn't as close to the beach as described. The bathtub in the master is a clawfoot tub and surrounded by a plastic shower curtain that has mold on the bottom of it. It advertised taking a bath in the tub, but the tub was very old and the curtain was not able to be moved easily. The shower in the extra bath upstairs worked fine, but slightly disappointed with the master shower. Overall a great place to stay - just not as easy of access to the beach as we had hoped and is much farther than the pictures show.

Wonderful place for a family

We enjoyed this property so much for our family reunion weekend. Plenty of space for 5 adults and 2 kids. House was clean, well equipped, and communication was great. Gearhart is a lovely little town. Would definitely stay again!

Always a Pleasure

We've stayed at this residence before and, it was because of those stays we chose this property to host our family; we knew they would enjoy it as much as we have. They were very happy with the neighborhood, the proximity to the ocean, the nearby amenities (Pacific Way Bakery - a must) and most importantly, the comfort of the house and the way it's stocked to entertain. You can't go wrong staying here, comfort all of the way!

Beautiful Home

This home is spacious and beautiful. Many windows and tastefully decorated. The location is perfect as it is right on the path to the beach and walking distance to restaurants and shops. We had grandparents, parents, big & little kids and everyone had a great time. The house is well stocked with everything we could possibly need. The shower is large and allows for a parent to easily clean the little kids! A perfect vacation spot!

Wonderful two-story home - four bedrooms & three baths. Very large kitchen and a wonderful great room with separate space for tv viewing; a dining room table that easily seats eight; and a separate seating area adjacent to the fireplace - a wonderful space for group conversation or completing a puzzle. Our second time here - grandparents plus family of five. Communication with owner was excellent. A short walk to McMenamins Restaurant. A short drive to Astoria, Seaside or Cannon Beach. Beautiful house in a beautiful area

Our experience during our stay was exceptional, the house is beautiful, has a lot of historical features, and is in the perfect location. It’s within walking distance to coffee shops, stores and the beach. The owner is very kind and responsive. Thank you again for your hospitality.
