GEEN REINIGINGSKOSTEN !! Neem nu contact met mij op om op de wachtlijst te komen! Spectaculair, panoramisch uitzicht op de bergen van de drie staten (North Carolina, South Carolina en Georgia). Dit luxe huis is gelegen op Wildcat Ridge (boven Wildcat Country Club in Highlands, North Carolina) op de top van Whiteside Mountain (een van de oudste bergen in de wereld). Het is het hoogste huis in de omgeving, pal naast het servicegebied voor extra privacy en gemakkelijke toegang tot wandelpaden. Stuur me een e-mail als je niet onmiddellijk beschikbaarheid ziet. Er is altijd een kans dat ik je dit jaar of de volgende kan bereiken.

Ons huis is van alle gemakken: Smart TV's, Tivo, Blu-ray, dvd-spelers in de woonkamer en drie slaapkamers. Premium kabel en hoge snelheid, draadloos internet in het huis en op het dek. Douches met tenminste twee douchekoppen en een uitstekende waterdruk. Twee-persoons jacuzzi met een panoramisch uitzicht. Tal van decks met een verscheidenheid van terrasmeubilair. Weber grill en buiten open haard. Afgesloten garage. Centrale verwarming en AC evenals een plafondventilator. Alle moderne apparatuur en ruime wasruimte. TempurPedic en Heavenly bedden. Automatische generator. Heerlijke privacy.

De woning is volledig gevuld (handdoeken, beddengoed, zeep, toiletpapier, vuilniszakken, papieren handdoeken, schoonmaakmiddelen, etc.). De koelkast heeft water gezuiverd. Onbeperkt interlokale gesprekken binnen de continentale Verenigde Staten.

ALL huurinkomsten gaat rechtstreeks naar het behoud en de verbetering van het huis, en verbeteringen worden elk jaar gemaakt.

Het pand locatie is onbetaalbaar. Echt onbetaalbaar. Wij verhuren het huis, zodat we het in de familie kan blijven voor vele generaties.

Minimum verblijf is een week. Verblijven zijn zaterdag tot zaterdag (check-in om 3:00 uur, check out om 10.00 uur).

Er kunnen maximaal 6 personen.

Anne, the owner was wonderful to work with. Very responsive. AND - provided the BEST property/house information of any VRBO we've ever rented! Anne was incredibly detailed about the quirks of this cherished family home, which we really appreciated. House is immaculate, views are stupendous. Don't come if you're expecting a modern party house. This is a 1968 unique, architecturally interesting, comfortable home to be in, and to be treated with the care it's had for the past 58 years it's been in the family. Not fancy, but fabulous.

Spectacular describes the gorgeous, panoramic views, the architecture and communication with Anne. This custom designed home literally sits at the top of Whiteside Mountain. During our stay, we used the AC only twice, a blessed escape from the heat and humidity we left in Tallahassee. We particularly enjoyed experiencing changing weather from the mountain top: a rainbow, rolling thunderstorms, being on top of the valley fogs, and sunny days. The home is very private, located at the end of a private cul-de-sac. Anne has provided every attention to detail, and then some, right down to a plethora of fluffy towels, a sophisticated WIFI network, every imaginable kitchen appliance and lots of receptacles (you don’t even need to bring your USB chargers!). There’s comfortable seating everywhere. Two king bedrooms upstairs and a private suite downstairs. There are three bathrooms, two of which are uniquely designed. The area appears to be popular, especially with relatively well-healed Atlantans. Upscale shopping and restaurants describe Highlands, and there’s an Ingles (one of our favorite grocery chains) in nearby Cashiers. Since we’re in our 80’s, we didn’t take advantage of the many nearby hiking, rafting and other outdoor activities. It was our delight to read, enjoy the views and cool mountain weather. We had some issues with Internet reliability, but Anne was responsive. She apologized profusely, and offered to inform “the cable guy”, but I explained that we didn’t

This is a wonderful house, particularly if you’re a Frank Lloyd Wright fan of mid century modern architecture. Absolutely stunning! The view is incredible and the house is comfortable in every respect. Our host was very easy to reach and interested in making sure our stay was perfect. Couldn’t have been better!

A very well appointed house, close to downtown Highlands, Cashiers and 90 minutes to Asheville. This is our third year staying at Anne’s home with plans to return. We highly recommend this home.

Most perfect setting in the Highlands

The proximity to Whiteside Mountain and the spectacular views make this a perfect Highlands location. It is located halfway between Highlands and Cashiers which is ideal.

Lovely well maintained home in great up to date beautiful condition with all amenities and fantastic mountain views. Situated in a private secluded area but only 15 minutes from either Highlands or Cashiers over paved well maintained roads. The architecture of the house is unique and charming.

Haven in the Clouds

Whiteside Villa never disappoints. For almost 30 years this has been my family's place to relax and recharge. All the up to date amenities of modern life with the same 30 mile view enjoyed by the original settlers of HIghlands. The best of both worlds and no better place to be on the Plateau.

Awesome as always.

Still delivers a home away from home feeling ... that is, if your home has a 30 mile view and rarely gets above 72 degrees in the heat of summer. My family never gets tired of our time together here. This is the best The Plateau has to offer.

Never Disappoints

After almost 30 years of choosing this as our "carved in stone" time of year my whole family comes together -- Whiteside Villa has functioned as our second home. We treat it as such and our gracious host continues to surprise us from year to year with updates and improvements. The only thing that never changes is the view, the history and the charm. It never disappoints.

Always perfect

Immaculate, beautiful, comfortable. And this is just the inside. Outside there are incredible views of three states, sunrise through sunset. It makes me happy. Can't recommend it highly enough. Anne is easy to work with and very prompt.

Up in the clouds

This is the 2nd time we’ve rented this property. A truly unique house - both its architecture and setting. This house is situated at one of the highest elevations for a home in the Highlands area and has an extraordinarily expansive view. This property has been very well maintained. We will return.

The villa

Never ceases to amaze

Our first visit to Whiteside Villa was when our children were in elementary school. Now in their early 30s, they both make their way back from LA and DC to spend time with us here every year. While the house is updated every year, the spectacular view remains the same. And the memories last forever.

Amazing views at Whiteside Villa!

There is no way that words can describe the views here. You are directly adjacent to Whiteside Mountain and the surrounding views are unsurpassed. Anne is the BEST property manager imaginable. The house is always immaculate and she’s only an email away should you need anything (which we normally don’t). Everything you need to enjoy a relaxing vacation is here. :)

WhiteSide Villa is a true Mid Century Modern treasure nestled on the Southwestern or “Nose End” of WhiteSide mountain. This perfectly maintained home was designed and constructed to maximize the enjoyment of mountain vistas, as well as, views of the changing valley terrain (a mere 2000 feet below). Whiteside Villa is the highest home in the Highlands-Cashiers area at 4850 feet, and it abuts the Whiteside Mountain Hiking Trail Forest Service Land. It has the most expansive views of any home on the Ridge which can all be viewed from every room in the home as well as from any of the numerous outdoor decks. It was designed by architects Robert Opsahl, Jim Fox, and Jeff Cox, all of whom favored the Frank Lloyd Wright style of organic architecture -- that is, designing in harmony with humanity and the environment. This unique home also boasts master craftsmanship with the natural stone and wormy chestnut interiors as well as custom built furniture designed by Jim Fox. It's not merely a home; it's a soul-rejuvenating experience.
