Fantastic vacation spot and great home.

We loved staying at Villa Del Mar. this complex is so easy and relaxing. The owner (Penny) was so attentive and helpful at every turn. So many fun things to do nearby. Highly recommend this place for a memorable vacation.

Condo at Villa Del Mar

My family & I have a wonderful and relaxing time at Villa Del Mar. Our condo meet all of our needs and more! Very clean and close to the beach. We plan to visit again!

Fantastic as before!

We returned to Penny’s apartment after having an incredible time in April. The condo is in my opinion the very best in PA, big pools, beautiful beach access. The apartment is setup for anything you might need, we really enjoye staying here. It has been our favorite stay in the PA area hands down. We will continue to come back, as its really an incredible place for families.

The perfect family destination.

This was our third time staying at Villa Del Mar and it will remain our accommodation choice as long as we visit Peurto Aventuras. The building and grounds are meticulously maintained, the staff is helpful and friendly, and the suite was very spacious, beautifully appointed and clean. The complex is located close enough to walk to everything, but not so close that the noise of the town centre is heard. Great place for kids and one of the nicest stretches of beach in this town.

Charming “La casa del color “

We had a marvelous stay at La Casa del Color. Penny very helpful in our first time Vrbo stay rental experience. She was in touch to get everything flow. All clean and beautiful view!!

Great Condo!!

Great spot! Nicely equipped with all that you could want. Very spacious 2 bedroom. Staff on site were very helpful and friendly. Penny is a wealth of information about the area. Must do: snorkeling with the turtles, hiking the ruins, swimming in the caves, drinking Margaretta's :) Great spot for families with children. Both the pool and beach area is very safe.

Great Condo complex

Great condo in a great condo complex. Very laid back compared to Playa. Has the best section of beach in the bay. Enough good restaurants to keep us happy. Very safe as it's truly gated. Penny was great to deal with, very responsive to all our needs. Would not hesitate to recommend this rental to anybody. We will be back for sure!

Great Condo

Great condo in a fabulous complex. Stayed there for over two and a half months. Great restaurants near by. Very safe gated community. Easy access to groceries at Chadrui. Not crowded at all, always a Palapa available. Condo shows pride of ownership, well equipped and maintained. Penny is very responsive and truly cares about your stay. I would HIGHLY recommend this place.

My family of 5 had a wonderful time! The condo is comfortable and well-appointed with anything you might need for a great getaway. We found Villas del Mar to be very safe, secure and friendly, and we were able to let our tween boys explore on their own. Likewise, the very nearby town of PA couldn't be more safe and family friendly. Penny, the owner, is very responsive and helpful. You won't regret your decision to stay at her place!

Best deal in Puerto Aventuras

This condo was perfect for my family of 6...everything about it! Penny is the best owner I have dealt with on VRBO...very attentive, makes sure you have everything you need inside and outside of the condo. She was in some aspects our tour guide! Puerto Aventuras is a great place to stay when visiting the Riviera Maya...and this is the best condo to stay when in PA. There is so much to do in the area. Our vacation exceeded my expectations and I give Penny lots of credit for that! Thanks for opening your beautiful vacation spot to our family!

Perfect!!!

We had an amazing 5 days vacation, the condo is perfect for 6 people and has everything you may need to be more than confortable and spend a relaxing days there. It is a few steps from pool and beach, the building has elevator, the complex is quiet and it is a walking distance to a convenience store and restaurants. The beach is awesome! calm as a pool, wide, clean, soft sand. The owner helps with information and is very attentive. You won't regret with this condo!

Beautiful Condo, Serene setting!

What a beautiful spot! We had a fantastic time relaxing by the amazing pool and beach right out front of the condo, it felt like we stepped into a Corona commercial! :P The condo was better than expected, spacious and well setup, it had everything we needed, was very clean and convenient to the local shops and restaurants. It was great to have use of the bikes to explore the local town which was a bonus. In Puerto Aventuras we recommend Aventuras dive shop, they were great! Also coffee at Acentos, lunch at Bamboo and if you hit Tulum, go to Be Tulum Hotel for an amazing dinner and great vibe. If you're looking for a relaxing vacation, this is it!!

Beautiful Location and Condo, Great Deal!

Can't say enough about our time in Puerto Aventuras. Our condo was more than expected and the owner, Penny, is fantastic. She is very professional, easy to deal with and on top of every detail! She was very informative and helpful in preparing us for our visit. Her condo is in a great and secure location. We never once felt unsafe while we were there. It is a gem of a location and is very close to everything you need: pool, beach, restaurants, bars and a marine with fishing boats to charter. It was such a different and better experience then staying at an all inclusive resort, which we have done before. We had a fantastic time and definitely plan on coming back, but for longer the next time!

Wonderful Family Stay in PA

Beautiful beachfront condo in a magnificent, clean, safe and well run complex (Villas del Mar). The apartment has absolutely everything you need, furnished with great taste from the owners, which clearly go out of their way to cover every detail of your stay. The balcony has a lovely dining table which we particularly enjoyed as a family with views of the Caribbean. We immensely appreciated little details like the owners leaving a full set of condiments, leaving kitchen paper towels, shampoo bottles in every bathroom as well as purified water gallons for our stay. We absolutely loved every detail, we would certainly love to go back to this apartment. The best complex in PA in my opinion. Andres

This condo was exceptional

This condo was perfect for our family. It is very beautiful, highly functional, and also quite comfortable. The pool and beach are very close and fun for us and our kids. Puerto Aventuras was a perfect little town for our family. We ate dinner at the marina several times and had a lot of fun. But We also took several day trips to nearby towns, Playa del Carmen and Tulum are not far, and are very worthwhile. The owner of this condo, Penny, was very easy to work with and also very helpful. The condo ran perfectly smoothly and we didn't need any assistance, but Penny checked in with us before our stay and during our stay, just in case which felt good knowing she was there If needed. Overall we had a fabulous trip, and would highly recommend this condo.

Friendly and accommodating host

We only stayed for 3 nights because we were moved from another area due to the hurricane damage. I booked this condo very last minute because of the circumstances and the host was sure I had everything I needed. She was very accommodating to our needs and the process was completely seamless. She was available to answer all my questions and offered some good advice! She's really personable and made us feel right at home. I would 100% book again with her! The condo is exactly as described and pictured. It's on the third floor in the perfect location for Puerto Aventuras. Thank you for a wonderful trip! I'm happy I found this place.

Great family vacation

This condo is perfect; great condo and beach. We absolutely loved our vacation at this location. The condo has everything you need. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well-equipped. Walking distance to many restaurants and activities. Our kids enjoyed watching the dolphins, manatees, and sea lions. The fresh vegetables and fruit (and amazing orange juice) from the farmers market was great. We also stopped at Dos Prados for more fruit and vegetables later in between the farmers market. Snorkeling, walks on the beach, building sand castles and swimming in the pool were some of our favorite activities. We love this location and it is our favorite vacation spot. This condo was great; relaxing and we enjoyed time together as a family. Penny is wonderful. She is so helpful and responsive. Thank you for sharing your wonderful condo with us! We will be back!

Beautiful condo in perfect location!

Our family of 4 visited for spring break. It was our second time visiting Puerto Aventuras and we absolutely love this area. Villas del Mar is an ideal location for a family vacation - access to 2 beautiful pools, the best section of the beach in Puerto Aventuras and a close walk to the great restaurants and shops. The condo is beautiful. It is clean, well maintained and nicely equipped. The condo had everything we needed from kitchen tools to beach toys. The beds are very comfortable. Penny is wonderful to work with, as well. She is responsive, knowledgeable about the area and genuinely wants you to have a wonderful vacation. She checked in often to make sure we were having a good time and was always available to answer any questions we had about the area. She gave us wonderful advice for a day trip to Tulum (which I highly recommend). I can't say enough wonderful things about Penny and her home in Puerto Aventuras! Penny - thank you again for sharing your beautiful home with us. We hope to visit again someday!

2nd time is a charm!

Penny - this was our 2nd time staying at your condo and just like the first time - you were very helpful with our questions regarding the property and surrounding attractions. The unit was just as clean and functional for us as it was for our first stay in 2016. We enjoyed making some meals in the unit and the barbecue is a great addition to your well equipped kitchen! The proximity to all the amazing beach, restaurants and market is excellent and even the relatively short walk to the grocery store is totally manageable if you don't have a car. Taxis are always available to drive you back to the unit if your purchases are too heavy. The complex was noticeable quieter in April than when we visited in Feb of 2016 so it made for an even more relaxing stay. The live entertainment in the restaurants was always enjoyable and added to the ambiance. Your unit is a wonderful relaxing haven from the busyness of life!! We highly recommend it to anyone wanting to have wonderful accommodations in a safe complex!!

We had a fantastic time in Puerto Adventuras111

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Villa Del Mar! My wife and I are very familiar with the area having stayed in all-inclusive properties along the Mayan Riviera numerous times. This was our first tropical holiday in a condo setting and we really enjoyed how relaxed it was...not having to dress up for dinner, battle for restaurant reservations and run to the beach every morning to reserve a couple of chairs. The condo is very well equipped...we wanted for nothing! The beach in front of Villa Del Mar is by far the best on the bay. Talcum powder like white sand and crystal clear water add to the relaxation. Villa Del Mar staff and security are always available and willing to help in any way they can. We visited the restaurant and bar area in Puerto Adventuras quite regularly...be it for fresh pastries in the morning or an evening drink and dinner. Prices were very good and the service was as well. The local farmer's market on both Wednesday and Saturday allowed us to keep a fresh supply of fruits and vegetables on hand...prices on produce was insanely low! The Chedurai market just outside the gate was the perfect place to gather more substantial groceries, sundries and beer/wine. A taxi from the gate is the best option is you are getting more than just a few items. We spent a day in Playa del Carmen and treated ourselves to some shopping and a great meal...as I recall cab fare was only $20-$23 each way. Overall a great vacation...we will be back!!!!

Wonderful condo in paradise!

Wow! What a great stay we had at this condo! There were six of us (my husband and me, our 17 and 22 year old sons, and two of their friends). The condo offered ample space and then some for all of us. It was the most well equipped condo we have ever stayed in. We didn't want for anything! Plenty of kitchen supplies, beach towels, beach and pool toys, small cooler to take to the pool/beach, pretty much anything you needed was there. The bikes were an extra bonus! The view is absolutely amazing! We loved the indoor/outdoor living when opening the sliding glass doors to the balcony all the way. We spent most of our time on the balcony while home, and enjoyed all our meals there when eating in. The location is also great. In a minute or two you can be at the pool or on the beach. The roped off section of private beach for Villa Del Mar was great. There are plenty of chairs and palapas for use. Just a short 2 minute walk and you're at the marina to shop, eat, and play. Lastly, let's not forget about Penny and Richard! Penny was very responsive throughout our communications from the time I booked to the end of our vacation. She sent a lot of useful information for the condo and Puerto Aventuras prior to our arrival. She even checked in on us a few times just to make sure all was good! Richard was also very responsive and came over to check in after our arrival. Our vacation was so smooth and seamless that we didn't actually need anything while there, but when I did contact Richard he answered right back. It was nice to know he was close and we could count on him if we needed anything! You won't regret booking this condo... I know we didn't and we will definitely be back!

This is the one! Perfect!!

This condo is the absolute perfect place for your family vacation. I spent months researching Cancun and surrounding areas for my family of 6 (4 kids under 13) and wanted somewhere fun, clean and safe without having to pack or shop for an empty condo or hotel. First of all, Puerto Aventuras is a gated community about an hour from the Cancun airport with hotel, condos, marina, restaurants, shops and golfing and Villas Del Mar is a gated condo complex within PA. I felt completely safe letting our kids go back and forth to the beach, pool, Oxxo (like a 7/11) and geltao shop on their own. It's also nice sharing the beach with the Omni hotel and being able to share their chairs, loungers (we never had a problem getting a spot) and the beach bar and restaurant. Our unit in Villas Del Mar itself was wonderful, it was spotless, updated with free WiFi and the owner provided everything we could have needed including towels, boogie boards, pool toys, life jackets, tennis rackets, bikes, a BBQ grill, staples like paper towels, soap, laundry and dish detergent, sun screen, aloe vera, a service that brings 5 gallon water whenever needed and food supplies like condiments, ice cube trays, and all dishes and appliances. There is a grocery store directly across the street from the main PA gates and we went over 3 times in our 10 day stay for breakfast and lunch supplies, but usually had dinner at one of the many restaurants within walking distance from the condo (don't miss karaoke night at Cafe Ole). We also did day trips to Xplor, Xcaret, Tulum and Playa del Carmen which are all about 20 minutes in one direction or the other from PA. The grounds of Villa Del Mar are kept immaculate with huge grassy areas for kids to play soccer, frisbee, or chase the fireflies at night, 2 large pools that were never crowded. The beach is very clean, in a cove so there are almost no waves, and very shallow for at least 50 yards out which makes for great snorkeling right at your front door. We saw lots of fish and manta rays every day. This is NOT a place to come to "party" as most guests are families with small kids or older folks, but it is exactly what we were looking for and we would go back again with no hesitation, I can't think of anything we would do differently. You will love it!

Loved It

Loved everything about this condo and location! Sat on the balcony every night and morning enjoying the view. Loved that we could walk 100 yards and be to multiple dinner spots. Loved that the Chedraui supermarket is so close. The area felt like a small quiet beach town. The condo had everything we needed! We will be back!
