There are many qualities for evaluating a vacation rental: location, quality of unit, communication with host, service, size, comfort, cleanliness, attractiveness of interiors. Very few merit five stars in all these factors. This one does. The location,a quiet street a couple of blocks behind the Parliament, is exceptionally convenient to Victoria’s major tourist areas. You can walk to everything. The property is a beautifully modernized historic building, including a large new kitchen. The hospitality level is above and beyond: the welcome package included coffee, tea, bagels, milk, orange juice, cereal, and more. Chris responded really quickly to all messages. His friendly dad, who lives below the rental, helped out with any questions and was never intrusive. Could not recommend more highly.
