Such a nice. Cozy place, perfect for our trip to the red river gorge. Great parking for the motorcycle and a great location for all the wonderful sights. Highly recommend

Clean. Displayed in picture as it was in real life. Cabin sits on a rural residential road. Not as desolate as picture shows online, but that didn’t bother us. Back of the cabin is private and spacious. Host was prompt to answer. Kitchen was stocked for everyday cooking. We would absolutely stay here again.

I suggest checking in prior to arriving at the cabin, we did not think it through and the fact that cell service would be minimal and we’d need the WiFi password. Not a big issue though, just drove back to where we had service.

Everything was GREAT. Quiet area. It was so easy communicating with the host who responded quickly to any questions we had. Definitely recommend this stay to anyone, including families.

This cabin was beautiful! It had everything we needed! Comfortable stay, family friendly! Wish we would have had more time to stay and can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful, peaceful, much needed!

Our stay at Blue Sky was so wonderful. It was great to get away for a weekend and relax. The cabin was extremely clean and scenic. Loved staying here and will more than likely stay again!

Refrigerator was dirty with dried crusted milk on 2 of the shelves . Other than that the cabin was beautiful but it was made to look much more secluded than it is. The cabin desist right on the road and you can see other homes and trailers . Fire pit was great and we faced the woods so we didn’t see houses . Host was very nice but for the price I was disappointed.

We enjoyed our stay at the Blue Sky Cabin. The cabin was nicely furnished/equiped and it was clean and welcoming. We enjoyed the hot tub and the firepit. The backyard was wooded and pleasant. While the backyard was wooded/private the home is located just off the road in an okay neighborhood. The home is located about 35-40 minutes from RRG but it was close to other hiking trails and the ride was senic on our way to Natural Bridge and RRG. We would reccomend this home if you are visiting the RRG area.

Very clean and prepared for guests.

We had a great time at our stay here. With the hot tub and the fireplace we stayed entertained in the evenings when we weren’t hiking. The kitchen accommodations were perfect as well as the beds and bathrooms. I have no complaints.

Amazing!

The property is so welcoming you feel you might like to put down roots. The proprietors are very well organized, communicate quickly, and think of every detail, down to a list of recommended sites and maps of how to get there. The cabin is clean and the decor is perfect. The hot tub was amazing at the end of each hiking day. We plan on coming back in the future!

So lovely & peaceful!

We had a great visit to this sweet little cabin. The January snow was beautiful. The full kitchen, hot tub with a view, nice shower, comfy beds were our favorite parts of this property! Slade, KY is about 40 minutes by car. We did lunch, the Natural Bridge, and Nada tunnel that day. Would 10/10 recommend if you’re looking to be off the beaten path.

Cozy cabin

We had a great time staying at this cozy cabin! We loved the nature all around, sitting in the hot tub after a day of hiking local trails, movie nights together as a family and making meals. We appreciated all the supplies provided from pots and pans to games to shampoo/conditioner. We also appreciated that a washer and dryer was provided. We would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone! Thank you for a great stay we won’t forget!!! 😊

A very nice cabin! The overall appearance is exactly what a cabin should look and feel like. The backyard was nice and where we spent most of the time catching up by the fire pit and grilling on the charcoal grill. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and well decorated. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils, and the appliances were modern and easy to use. The drive to Red River Gorge was beautiful. If you take the route that Google maps suggest, you will find yourself on a winding country road that at a point will take you to a 1 lane tunnel. Very cool! I would stay here again.

Relaxing

The cabin was exactly as it was pictured, the only thing I thought it would have been more secluded in the view of the photos, but it was extremely quiet and well kept inside and out. We enjoyed our stay unfortunately we didn’t get to be outside as much as desired due to the weather but we used the hot tub every night and cook and relaxed watching TV. Our main reason for renting was to look at some properties, however we are in another direction now but if we ever came back to KY. We’d stay again at this cabin! Very well decorated with the high end finishes!

Nice place

We only stayed for a few hours overnight but everything was very pleasant, cozy and clean. The only hiccup came early on the morning that we were to check out when the pest control man started banging on the door. He wanted to come in to spray for pests and was not taking “no” for an answer. It didn’t seem to be the owners fault. He said he was a day early so he could be off on Thanksgiving Day the next day. But nonetheless, it’s the reason I couldn’t give this place a 5 star rating.
