Enjoyed our stay. Close to the sound which was quiet and we enjoyed that. The place had a few things that weren't listed and we really enjoyed the bikes and the grill. Laundry was listed as coin operated but it was not so that was nice. Kitchen could use a little more silverware and some dish towels but other than that no complaints!

Very nice house

We were very pleased with the house. Great location. The only thing we noticed that needed some attention was the railing on the back deck.

Excellent location with a few eh moments

Great location right behind Food Lion so makes it easy if you’re looking for a family vacation spot where you are running to the store frequently! Excellent beach access spot - a little bit of a walk to the sound. Golf course was great. Pool was nice and food there was awesome! Deck was nice. Don’t count on the “beach shuttle” if you have kids you have to bring car seats - it’s just someone to drive you so you’re better off driving yourself. If I would’ve known that I may have chosen otherwise. Drawbacks - omg mosquito infested. It was absolutely insane. They need to have someone spray the property outside and maybe that helps. Also, the AC units NEVER got to the setpoints. Directions said to keep them at 70 or above. I picked 72 upstairs (this one worked better but still struggled) and we were at 78 on hot days. Miserable. Downstairs was worse. Set that one at 70 and it wouldn’t go below 73 on floor 2 but it was hotter on the bottom floor. Sheets don’t stay appropriately on the bed and the bed on the bottom floor isn’t a true queen - the sheets won’t stay on still. Wouldn’t pick this house again but it was “fine”. Needs updating - new curtains, new carpet, a super deep clean, new coffee mugs (ones that fit a whole cup), better instructions on arrival - like hey go to the pool to get your parking pass and you only get one, when does the trash go out, communication was 0. No instruction sheet with applicable information. The info on the fridge wasn’t applicable for the most part. Overall, needs minor updates for convenience, needs to be deep cleaned, and needs to get some new beds and sheets that fit. Excellent location with some fine tuning would be a diamond!
