The location is awesome. We were very comfortable and appreciated all the amenities. We loved the town of Manzanita Beach and nearby trails. The house was clean and kitchen was well stocked.

It is a rustic home but very comfortable and right next to the beach and the town. Lots of games and other amenities!

My family including my parents stayed here and had a wonderful time. The house is in an amazing location. We loved the view and enjoyed walking to shops and the beach. Kate was terrific at responding when I had a question and the house had the kitchen amenities and layout that worked well for our family.

Excellently located on the beach and a very short walk to local restaurants. The home has an amazing selection of books, games, and puzzles that our family was able to enjoy from ages 2 to 40. I loved the cleverness of the game tabletop that could be moved between the coffee table and card table. The home was also incredibly quiet and peaceful.A few things to know before you go: The walk through the seagrass on the dunes can be tricky for kids who end up fighting sharp blades of grass in their face. Also, there is a view of the beach, but it is obscured a bit by the dune.

This was our 3rd time at this perfect, comfortable and homey beach house. We love the vibe and closeness to town. Appreciated the new carpet, chairs and bedding.Can’t wait for visit #4!!

Everything was great. The kitchen was very well stocked, lots of seating, great location and very easy to maneuver around. I would definitely recommend this house.

This was our third time back. We always enjoy it here.One of the shades in the living room was broken and couldn't be lowered. The day we left the dishwasher leaked onto the kitchen floor. We called the emergency number and reported it.I also left my laptop computer there. I need to find out who the housekeeper came to clean after we left on Sept. 12th , so the I can retrieve it for security reasons. This is a cozy well furnished and equipped home, right on the beach. Everything went perfectly with reservation arrangements, guidance from the host, and use of the house and amenities. We would love to visit again.

Amazing cabin. My family really loved this place. Very clean, everything you need for a fun weekend at the beach. Beach chairs, beach toys, firewood, puzzles, and board games. Conformable beds and great showers (a must for me). So close to town (1 block). I would definitely recommend and would stay again. Thank you

Great location to walk to town for shopping/groceries. Clean accommodations “inside” w/all the basics. Outside needs some attention in terms of landscaping/path to the beach. Both were overgrown when we stayed there. I expected better considering the price for beachfront accommodations. Shouldn’t have to walk through weeds to access the back deck. Obstructed view of beach/ocean directly behind the house due to SOFT sand dunes. There is a distant view north and south. I would not recommend the path to the beach directly behind the property for anyone physically impaired by handicap or age. Walk south on the street a couple of blocks for an easier/flatter/firmer walk onto the beach.

Thanks Chris, sorry we missed getting the gardener in, hard to keep up sometimes. I will put a note in our listing about access to the beach. When our parents bought the house in 1985, there were no dunes at all but now they get higher every year. Best regards, Mike Hascall

The house has large peekaboo views of the ocean from the main living room and the deck. Our 3 yr old grandson loved hiking the path from the house through the dunes to the beach, it was a great adventure. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking all our meals. Check in and check out was easy.
