It is a beautiful property with a big back yard for the kids to run wild in. Beautiful sunrises in the morning.

We had such a wonderful family stay! The fire pit overlooking the water was the perfect place to relax and make memories together, and the history of this charming 1940s home made the experience even more special.The beach is a short walk away, and the views were stunning—we even got to watch a beautiful wedding! We did have an A/C issue, but the host notified us prior to the stay, responded immediately, brought fans, and got it resolved quickly. Their communication and care truly stood out.With a newborn in the family and a family member dealing with health challenges, this peaceful getaway meant a lot to us. We left feeling grateful for the time together and would happily stay again!

We absolutely loved this house!! It was cute, clean, and plenty of room for our mother’s day weekend away!! View of Lake Huron was amazing and to see 3 bald eagles and blue bird’s galore to name a few was magnificent!! Great price for an easy getaway!!! Thank you

this was a beautiful place with a beautiful view. plenty of space for my family. The only thing I would say is I think pots and pans were lacking. Very clean and the beds were good. I would stay at this place again.

Loved the beach and the camp and all of the beautiful property surrounding. The view was stunning. Lots of towels which was great. Beds were uncomfortable so my family left early. Lots of webs with bugs on porch. Oven didn’t work sadly. Second floor bathroom should be stated in the listing as my elderly mother didn’t/couldn't visit as a result.

Beautiful and relaxing home, easy walk to the private access to a lovely natural beach of fine sand and colorful stones. We enjoyed the location and I loved the morning sunrises wrapped in a blanket on the beach in solitude.

We had such a lovely time. I had originally planned to have more people join us, but it was three adults and five children, a sister's weekend away. The lake view (from the bedrooms, porch, firepit) was beautiful. You could hear (in the distance) the waves upon falling asleep. It rained one night and the sound of the rain on the tin roof was lulling and beautiful. We very much enjoyed the semi private beach (SO relaxing) and spent the entire time relaxing, playing games on the covered but open back porch and talking. The firepit is a great asset. We had a lot of space with only five of us and 11 could have fit (but sharing one bathroom may have been tricky). I LOVE that some of the money goes toward funding camp for kids who cannot afford it. This makes it so worth it. You should advertise that, b/c many ppl might really want to support you in that endeavor! The only thing that was a bit lacking was the number of pots/pans and coffee mugs (but we saw that in another comment and brought an extra pot). Overall, it was the perfect off the grid relaxation place! THANK YOU!!!

Poor communication (no reply to my messages) with Lori after several messages over the course of a week. Very frustrating and unprofessional. I have rated all other aspects of the stay as a 5 star, although we never actually ended up staying at the cottage.

They made reservations on 12/30/25 for 1/1/26 and then on 1/1/26 they cancelled, they said due to weather. They asked for a credit, but I don't show a payment on my end.

Spacious, clean and comfortable

A great 2 night getaway just north of the cute town of Lexington with our grandkids and dog. The house was clean and spacious with plenty of beds, a large dining table and a kitchen stocked with the basics. The pictures are accurate and the host communicated all the details clearly and concisely. The Queen bed my husband and I slept in was very comfy! We enjoyed swimming in Lake Huron on the two VERY HOT days we were there! A few notes.... water shoes/sandals were very helpful as there are lots of large rocks scattered off shore. Bring your own beach chairs and sand toys! The kids and dog loved the large yard to run around in and we enjoyed the view of the lake from the porch. Overall a great stay!

Lexington cottage on Lake Huron.

Property was amazing, although photos looked like you could walk directly down from the backyard to Lake Huron, which wasn’t the case. However, a short distance away there were stairs to get to the water. Accommodations can house a lot of guests but upstairs bedrooms get hot even with central air. Short drive into the town of Lexington & lost internet connection due to 4 th of July crowds. Outside property is expansive & was very quiet. Could use a thorough deep cleaning, windows, cobwebs on deck. But very happy with our 4 night stay & would choose it again,

The house itself it’s nice and accommodating, everything was there bonus washer and dryer. The property is not kids friendly, dangerous cliff on the end of the backyard and no fance, the fire pit was by the cliff, I couldn’t relax having my kids there and knowing that they could fell down , we did not enjoy the beach by the house to many rocks and not swimming friendly., The main reason I booked was to have beach by the house in order to enjoy swimming there. We were advised that this couldn’t be predicted as there is no way to know how the beach will look after the winter. It didn’t look to me like the huge rocks in the water were just accumulated only from past winter. We drove to the beach to swim. Definitely nice place to relax for adults but not for the family with kids.

This was a great little escape. A lot of land to enjoy with my dog and the water view was beautiful. We enjoyed the beach near the camp. The water is rocky, but that’s expected in that area. Makes for great rock hunting. All bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs. Living area was fine for a family of three. Two chairs and three seat sofa that I believe turns into a bed. They have books and games there. Kitchen was spacious just not stocked with much. Make sure to bring cream and sugar and maybe cups for coffee if needed. We would definitely stay here again. Especially since the funds go towards the camp next door as well.

Family had a great time at this property. I didn't realize it was owned by the same as the camp and the stairs to beach were via the camp but it did not detract from our trip enjoyment. Would book again.

This house is awesome. We enjoyed ourselves so much. It was right on the water. The yard was huge so quiet and relaxing. We had a blast close to Lexington with awesome little shopping stores. My grandkids enjoyed this house so much. We will most definitely think about booking here again !!!!well well worth the trip.

The bedroom groupings are a little awkward, and be prepared for one bathroom with a large group of people. The beach was sandy and beautiful at the bottom of the stairs but if you are there at the same time as the camp connected to the property, they will kick you off the nice beach to a small rocky one. If you walk down the beach a short while you can get to a park. The view from the house is great, especially if you sit by the edge at sunrise. The house was a little dirty especially under the beds and the basement toilet that does not work had some issues when we got there but the host sent someone right away to clean that. Overall, fun place to stay with the family. The best part was the big backyard for yard games!
