We just want to clarify that the primary door to the studio does indeed have a secure deadbolt lock so we assume you are talking about the screen door ? That door does not lock but is not intended to be a secure door but just a way to get some fresh ocean air while you are occupying the space ! It’s usually left propped open and we’ve never had a guest mention the desire to lock it but we will consider installing a hook lock. The parking situation you mentioned is standard for the beach with limited parking areas. The space is just across the crosswalk from our entrance and usually not a problem for our guests but we apologize that you found it inconvenient. Some of the hotels have parking that is farther away than our parking so many of our guests actually compliment the lot location and find it to be a huge bonus that there is a specific reserved space.
