We had extended family stay for the weekend from age 19-75. All had a great time and the rooms were arranged so multiple activities could be going on at the same time. The hosts responded quickly to questions we had. We would definitely stay here again!

This place is amazing. Much better than the pictures convey. A very private setting, yet as comfortable and accessible as you could hope. All was clean and ready for us. Main and butler kitchens made food prep easy and fun. Hosts are welcoming and friendly. The adults and children loved the exotic animals that were easy to see without feeling like you’re on a farm. Top notch experience!

What a fabulous property! The location is secluded and gorgeous. We had 9 ladies and the setup of the house was perfect. A very well stocked kitchen, and the 2 kitchen setup was very handy. We spent a lot of time on the beautiful back porch as well. We didn't want to leave!

This is a great place for gathering. It has a terrific open area with the kitchen and living room. The kitchen has all you need to cook. The beds are really comfy. The setting is beautiful. We really enjoyed our time here and will stay again!

Everything was perfect! Stayed with our family of 12 (10 adults/2 toddlers) and 2 dogs. The home is huge but still feels welcoming and cozy. Fully stocked kitchen(s) and so much sitting room for eating and family games. Comfy beds and beautiful surroundings. Everything was amazing. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

An amazing stay here! House and property were beautiful, well stocked, and immaculately clean. Owners had great communication and were very accommodating of any needs we had. Would highly recommend staying here!

The host reached out to us multiple times leading up to our stay to make sure we were set. The property was wonderful. We took several short hikes back behind the property with gorgeous views. The home itself was well maintained and stocked. We had a wonderful time staying here!

R & D ranch exceeded our expectations! There were 6 of us and we were in town for a wedding that was down the road. Couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. House was stunning! Beds so comfortable and the amenities so unbelievable! We used the hot tub every night. Did hikes on the property and the owners were so lovely and helpful when we met them. Can’t recommend it enough! The double kitchens were insane. Only had dinner there once as we had many events. Our last night was spent around the fire pit talking old times as all of us were old college friends. House was well stocked with anything anyone could want. Thank you again for everything!!!

Best cabin ever!

The cabin was so nice. It had every possible amenity. We spent a lot of time on the shady back porch where a small creek runs. They have a fire pit where we roasted marsh mellows. I definitely will be back.

Absolutely stunning home!

This place far exceeded our expectations. The home was stunning. We had a small wedding in the backyard, and it was just perfect. The home was fully stocked with everything! The host and owners are so kind and helpful. Our kids loved the zebra and buffalo on the property. I would give this place 10 stars and would stay again. Thank you R&D Ranch for making our special day magical!!

Our family loved this home! The owners were amazing! They were there to greet us and tell us about the property and were so kind to our grandchildren—Taking our youngest ones on walks and rides. They were very patient with all their questions and requests. The home is beautiful—so much room. The beds were very comfortable and we had all we needed in the well equipped kitchen and butlers pantry to make meals and enjoy our stay. The built in pebble ice machine was a favorite for all of us. The outdoor space was the best—comfortable seating and a great place to gather and enjoy meals. Beautiful surroundings and lovely trails. The creek and sand play area were an added bonus. The unique animals were a surprise and fun to watch. (We send our thoughts to the owner after one incident with Mr. Buffalo). The play area was well maintained and our grandkids enjoyed it. The hot tub was also a favorite. There were also lots of toys to entertain the grandkids. There were many thoughtful details in the home to make it comfortable and enjoyable. We think the one thing that will make the home even better is when the basement bathroom is completed. We recommend this home and would definitely stay there again. Thank you for helping us make some wonderful family memories.

The place was beautiful, clean, and perfect for our group. Everyone loved it. One minor glitch was a strange (mildew-like) smell that was in the Master bedroom closet for the first day and a half, but it went away with windows open and fans on before we needed to contact the owners. This was minor compared to our overall experience, and I'm definitely leaving the rating at 5 stars.

Beautiful home! Everything in the kitchen you could possibly need! Excellent communication with the owners! They were helpful and responsive. The only issue for our group was that the bottom floor with the queen bedrooms is that there were no doors to separate the bedrooms. The track was there for a barn door, but no actual door. We had a 2 year old with us and wanted to be sure he could not get up the stairs at night but there was no way to contain him on the bottom floor so we shifted our sleeping plan. The property is in a lovely remote area. We had no issues finding it but Walmart delivery could not.. twice. The second time we caught them at the main road before they drove away. The outdoor space was relaxing and the well maintained. Hot tub was enjoyed as well! Would definitely recommend staying here!

Our stay was with extended family. There were 3 separate families with mostly older kids. 4 large bedrooms housed all the adults. There were two bedrooms downstairs with multiple beds to accommodate all the teenagers. The main area is large and definitely big enough to spread out. The kitchen was a dream with the extra back kitchen/butler pantry which allowed enough room for us all to be working and eating without bumping into eachother. There were 3 large refrigerators so we had plenty of room for food. The grounds were simply amazing! Better than expected. Quiet and large. The kids could run around without fear of cars. Walking trail right in the backyard was beautiful! Small stream which would be really fun in the summer. The icing on the cake was the resident animals. They were unexpected and so fun to feed and pet. We also met the sweetest fun little dog that just cozied right up to all of us then would run off to keep track of his animals in the little farm space. So fun, so relaxing. Perfect amount of space, interesting artwork and decor around the house. The home was also super clean! Enough bath towels, towels for the hot tub and a washer and dryer. The home is secluded but only 15 minutes to Smiths if you need to shop. I can’t say enough wonderful things. Everyone loved this place and is begging to book again next year!

What a hidden gem and perfect getaway to disconnect from the hustle and bustle! I was initially hesitant when we found out how close the owners are to the home, but after arriving and talking to them, it was actually quite lovely. We got to experience the property and all it had to offer with firsthand insight and tours from the owners. They were more than happy to entertain the grandkids when it was feeding time for the animals, and they even brought over cookies! We even tagged along for a morning walk. Great hosts and a great property! We're already planning our next trip.

We loved staying here and found surprises that weren’t in any pictures - like a dining room table that seats 10, a Lifetime playground , and lots of toys for kids. We stayed with 10 adults and two children and loved all the places to relax, play cards, bbq, and hang out on the patio. We highly recommend this place!
