Prachtig Carlsbad 2BD / 2BA strandhuis met terras

Dit is een geweldig strandhuis met 2 slaapkamers / 2 badkamers in Carlsbad, CA. Het is slechts een korte wandeling naar het strand en een wandeling van 1,6 km langs het strand naar Carlsbad Village Drive met verschillende restaurants, bars en winkels.

Wij bieden alle voorzieningen die nodig zijn om u zich thuis voelt. Het is uitgerust met een volledige keuken, beddengoed, handdoeken, AC / verwarming, draadloos internet, kabel-tv, wasmachine / droger, en nog veel meer! Een slaapkamer heeft een kingsize bed en de andere een koningin. Elk heeft zijn eigen tv. Een badkamer heeft een grote douche en de andere heeft een groot bad en douche combo. Er is ook een grote bank om op te slapen. Het kon comfortabel slapen 5.

Voor uw plezier bieden we ook een tafeltennistafel, barbecue, vuurplaats, buitendouche, boogieplanken, strandstoelen, strandhanddoeken, zandspeelgoed en meer!

Dit is een van de twee eenheden op de kavel dus we willen dat je de ruimte achterin respecteert voor wat betreft netheid en geluid. Er is ruimte voor ongeveer 4 auto's voor het huis voor beide eenheden om te delen.

Dit is geen feestbezit of een rookhuis.

Beide huizen zijn echte strandhuizen met hardhouten vloeren, een buitendouche, strandlakens en andere strandspullen. Het is ZEER hond- en kindvriendelijk.

Carlsbad is een geweldige badplaats. Het is mooi en stil. Het weer is spectaculair in de zomer. Carlsbad Village ligt op iets meer dan 1,5 km van het huis. Legoland ligt op enkele kilometers afstand. Het San Diego Wild Animal Park ligt op ongeveer 20 minuten afstand in Escondido. Het centrum van San Diego ligt op ongeveer 30 mijl afstand. San Diego heeft Seaworld, de wereldberoemde dierentuin van San Diego, Petco Park (thuisbasis van de Padres), de golfbaan Torrey Pines en alle geweldige restaurants en bars in de binnenstad. Ik heb een andere aanbieding in de binnenstad (vrbo # 308442) als je een paar dagen in de stad wilt blijven.
Het huis ligt naast de treinsporen. Er zijn twee soorten treinen. De eerste is de San Diego Coaster. Het draait ongeveer 10 keer gedurende de dag. Het is een forenzentrein en rijdt in 2 seconden voorbij. Het is helemaal niet luid, tenzij het noorden op de hoorn blaast wanneer het langs het huis gaat. Het loopt alleen overdag. De tweede zijn de goederentreinen. Ze zijn lang en zwaar. Ze zijn niet luid, maar zijn zwaar. Ze komen twee keer per dag langs. Soms komen ze midden in de nacht langs, maar dat is zeldzaam. Ik heb vijf jaar in beide huizen gewoond en ze verstoorden zelden mijn slaap, maar ik wil alle bewoners bewust maken, want als je een extreem lichte slaper bent of overdag slaapt, kan dit een probleem voor je zijn. With family and friends in the area, we wanted specific sleeping accommodations, outside areas to use for casual socializing, and a location close to the beach if one or more wanted to spend some time there. This property was great for all.

Nice accommodations with easy access to beach.

Nicely decorated, dog friendly, affordable property in a quiet neighborhood within an easy 10-12 minute walk to Tamarack Beach. Met the needs for a pleasant 5 night stay.

Great little spot/close to beach

Great stay with our son and dog, Jackson. Easy walk to beach, at end of cul de sac so safe to play. Spacious, clean and safe. Super vacation and would stay here again.

Comfortable in Carlsbad

Really enjoyed our stay here! It was close to downtown and all of the amenities of the area. The space was very clean and matched the description. The only minor complaint is how close the space is to the train tracks. Just bring some ear plugs and you’ll be good to go! Overall though, I would stay here again!

Great location, walking distance to the beach. The train sometimes throws you out of bed, but you quickly get used to it. I was only missing a few wine glasses 😃😃😃

Sweet treat in Carlsbad

We had a great stay at we call a Sweet treat in Carlsbad! The location was perfect. We could walk into town easily and enjoy a morning or afternoon shopping or at the Farmer's Market. Beach access was perfect because it is close enough to walk but far enough away to avoid the massive traffic. We had no problems with any of the amenities. Thanks for such a great stay! P.S. the trains were not that bad and blended into the background within a day.

Lovely Home - Good Vibes

We stayed here with our son and appreciated the close proximity to Legoland and the beach. Spacious and tidy, the house had plenty of towels, cozy blankets, and kitchenware, plus the beds were super comfortable. There were quite a few trains passing through which we got used to after a day or so, but they are loud and startling at first. Enjoyed the bamboo and tranquil backyard with ping-pong table. Overall, we greatly enjoyed our stay and would return!

great getaway

we have enjoyed our visit to Carlsbad and felt comfortable in this rental property. nicely decorated, walking proximity to the beach and safe neighborhood. it is right next to railroad track, which we expected, but took a day to adjust. fast response by property management to address a broken bed was very much appreciated and did not interrupt out stay.

We had a great time at this Carlsbad beach house. The beach was only a few blocks away, but only problem was no dogs were allowed at that beach. Luckily for us a great dog beach was only a few miles away. Kitchen was stocked well, loved the ping pong table, and felt like home. The new heater worked great! Thanks!

Planning our return already

Exceeded expectations! Home was easy to check-in. The little things that other hosts skimp on (e.g. toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, shower soap, salt/pepper, etc.) was provided. The bed was comfortable, too - I got a great night sleep. The location was fantastic - easy to walk to Better Buzz or a 7 min drive to Windmill Food Hall. Plenty of affordable grocery stores nearby, too! Parking on the property was easy. Not to mention, check-out was easy. The best part of it all was how dog friendly the home was. Thank you for a wonderful stay! Looking forward to returning!

Great value for the location!

This is such a cute cottage close to the beach. We also had no problem walking along the coast to Carlsbad Village where there are a ton of great restaurants and shops. The trains do blow their horns frequently as late as midnight or 1am; but I got used to it within a couple of days. The property manager was very quick to respond to questions and concerns and the house was clean and beds very comfortable. My only suggestion is that the kitchen needs to be better stocked. There was only one wine glass and no larger casserole for baking and no baking sheets if you wanted to cook a pizza or something. We usually cook quite a bit when we VRBO so just a few more basic items would be great to add. Wonderful stay overall!

Comfortable Home

The property was surrounded by cul de sacs which made it very private. The decor was clean and modern. It looked like it had been recently renovated. Fire pit on the patio was a nice addition. Train tracks were near the property and some trains blew their whistles just as they came by which startled us in the kitchen but we were warned about that. The bedroom is further away and less intrusive. I do not mind trains and actually enjoy them but some people may have issues with that. We shared the backyard with others tenants but they were away most of the time and when they were there, they were very quiet and respectful. The property is near the lagoon where a trail is marked for walking. The view from the Cliff is stunning. We are near the beach and coastal towns. We loved our stay. Easy check in and check out made it simple.

Really great location - close to everything

We chose this property for its location and dog friendliness. It delivered on both counts. It's a 3 min walk to the trail that runs along the lagoon at the end of the street (ocean just beyond). Perfect for morning dog walk or viewing the sunset. A 20 minute walk (or short drive) will take you into Carlsbad village where there are plenty of restaurants and shops. Other places (like a dog beach, restaurants, etc.) were also conveniently close by car. The house is comfortable and clean - even the beds are comfortable. The train track is just yards away and after the initial surprise at hearing the train whistle and whoosh the first time, we all got used to it and it was surprisingly not disruptive -- even at night. Really. First time booking with Urban Sands and very much appreciated and was impressed with how easy it was, how quickly I received responses to questions (text & email) and how efficient the whole check-in/out and booking process was. Everyone I contacted with was friendly and helpful. 5 Stars for that. 4.5 for the house ONLY because of minor things that could easily be added: more hooks and towel racks so things can dry, a shelf in small bath for toiletries/kit. Was cold in December and shower temps were barely warm; shower heads or pressure was weak so getting ready took too long and made everyone cranky. In summer that might not matter. We were surprised there were no dishtowels or soap. Lots of beach towels, tho', so great for summer.

Charming but noisy

The property adjoins the railroad tracks separating you by one stucco brick wall only. I have a history of working on the trains, so it does not bother me, but I can see how it would really impact other guests. The window coverings need to be addressed as the privacy is a little low. Other than that the beds are comfy, the open floor plan of the kitchen and dining room is fabulous and the location is wonderful except for the train. The lagoon is at the end of the block and a wonderful short walk to watch the sunset in the evening. There is a charming Italian restaurant around the corner and you are a short walk to Carlsbad Village . The hosts communicate beautifully. However, with my extended stay, I wish they reached out to see if I needed any restock on supplies. The only reason this is not a five star location is the railroad proximity and window coverings. The only other thing to note is that it was clean, clean, clean clean, which is hard to do with a place that allows pets.

Misleading

The listing states that it's pet friendly...it is not. The listing shows a fenced in yard supposedly for your pets to use the bathroom in & roam around. You are not able to use it...but you won't find that out until you are there at the property.You will have to take your pets out & walk them for them to use the bathroom...due to there being nowhere to go in the actual property.We had an elderly dog with us that could not walk very far & could not see or hear very well. We had to take her out front...off the property...for her & our other dog to go to the bathroom on the side of the house by where the train goes by. Also if your pets go to the bathroom in the neighbors yard...you will get fined...which will be charged to your credit card...& the neighbors do have cameras up.Also there was nothing to clean the floors in the house with. They have a vacuum that does not work...so I had to buy a broom & dustpan just to clean the dirt up off the floor...which I left there in the closet with the vac that doesn't work.I spoke with the manager often regarding the pet bathroom thing especially...but they really didn't seem to care much. There's also a tenant with a dog in the back house on the property as well.Had I known that there was not a fenced in yard for our dogs...I would not have rented this house. We would have found another place.I'm not sure if they have changed their listing regarding the bathroom issue for your pets. I suggested they do that.

Accomodating Beach House

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the beach house. It was in close proximity to the ocean and you could walk in to town along the oceanfront. Great area to bike around also. Although it is beside the railroad tracks (which is blocked by a solid fence and bamboo trees) the train noise did not seem to bother us after the first day or two. We enjoyed taking the train in to San Diego a number of times..easy, inexpensive and quick. We had our dog with us and the backyard was completely enclosed with lots of room to romp. There is a great off leash dog park at the ocean in Del Mar which was a short drive away. The house itself had a lovely, quiet sitting area in the front and also in the back area (which is shared with the renters in the 2nd property which is on the large lot). The home was clean and well equipped with the exception of the carpets in the bedrooms which are heavily stained and look to be in need of replacement. Ample parking on the street in front of the house. The owner of the property was very responsive to our needs and followed up on any questions within several hours. This was during the inquiry /rental process and once we arrived. We look forward to returning and will not hesitate to recommend the place to friends and family. Very good value..great location!

Great bargain

Loved the house. Stayed with my husband and 3 kids and it was just the right size. I thought the train noise would be a problem, since I am a light sleeper, but it was not bothersome at all. Nice walk to beach, neighborhood is very nice. The kitchen had all the basics we needed for cooking our own meals. Because we stayed in early October, we had no need for heating or cooling, so I can't speak to that. There were a few issues: the upper bunk did not have enough slats for even an 8-year-old's weight (we went to Home Depot and got two more boards for it); no mattress pads on any of the mattresses (not sanitary); the house needed a thorough cleaning (cobwebs, some grime on walls, carpets and upholstery stained or in need of cleaning, outside laundry room dirty). Todd was very helpful and nice, and asked to be left a list of items that needed tending to. If these issues were remedied I would give it 5 stars for the price. DON'T use the ceiling fan in the second bedroom if you have a child on the top bunk--it is too close to the ladder and will hit them in the face or head. Overall I would definitely recommend and will very likely stay again next year.

Perfect Location in Carlsbad

Loved the property - very clean and cute. Can’t beat the location - walk to beach and village. Excellent communication with the property host. Trains were fun and not an issue at all even for our light sleeper! Would definitely rent this property again.
