Lovely hideaway conveniently located in the middle of Brevard and Hendersonville. The Etowah area is beautiful and quiet. The home is spacious with plenty of deck and porch space.

Everything was AMAZING! Beautiful place, area- home was clean and had everything needed. Would enjoy staying here again!

Master bedroom mattress much too firm, tub much too high for seniors, closet hanging bars ridiculously high, thermostat not intuitive to adjust(required a call), hot tub is nice but no instructions (required a call) home had a definite musty smell ( required a call) laminate flooring in kitchen was peeling, they requested we dispose of our own garbage even though we paid to stay 12 days. Didn’t find any Welcome Book with suggested restaurants, markets or activities. Overall this home selection was our error in judgment. It is too far 20-30 minutes from any meaningful activities. We left 2 days early.

This property was quiet, cozy, and full of amenities! Plenty of space for me and my daughter while exploring Brevard and Hendersonville. We used the fully stocked kitchen every day of our trip, and the washer and dryer was greatly appreciated. The hot tub was clean and easy to use. The property is large and great for walking. The oven didn’t work upon arrival, but they sent a service technician to fix it. After that, it was smooth sailing! The only recommendation I would make is more televisions. There was only one in the living room, and it would have been nice to watch a family movie in bed at the end of a long day of hiking. Highly recommend if you’re looking to explore Western N.C., and unwind in the evenings.

Absolutely perfect mountain getaway

We wanted a vacation that was a quiet spot for rest and relaxation, yet close enough to visit Asheville and Dupont state rec. area for some hiking. ( We strongly recommend the hike up to High falls!) Pleasant Grove Hideaway was the perfect spot! The rental was super clean when we arrived, with lots of comfy spots for relaxing. We absolutely loved the constant sound of the mountain creek. The rocking chairs got lots of use, and the hot tub was one of the best ones we've had in a vacay rental. The beds, towels and linens were very nice, and the kitchen was very well supplied. Hubby enjoyed he's using the gas grill on the back porch. Loved being able to just step out the kitchen door and step into the hot tub. Would most definitely stay here again when visiting this area.
